  1. Found the speed governor on my 24 WT

My wife had mine to 97 passing a big rig on the interstate. She freaks out going by them because the wind makes them swerve a bit, so she races past every one when passing out of fear. Told her that's excessive and please don't treat my Bronco that way. Also, complimented her for setting family...
  2. Rear shock recall done, shields installed. Pictures included

Eventually I'll go that route, but can't afford upgrades yet $$$
  3. Rear shock recall done, shields installed. Pictures included

Couple things: I only have 13,000 miles on mine, so getting it done. Other thing is I don't know that you can sell a vehicle with an active recall? 🤔
  4. Rear shock recall done, shields installed. Pictures included

Took mine in and they verified no leaks yet. Said they had to order the repair parts/kits per vehicle before performing repairs. Guess we'll see how long this takes.
  5. Unwanted split screen on 12 inch display.

I'm laughing so hard. My wife's phone was setup second to mine, but every time she rides with me, the damn screen wants to connect to her phone and settings over mine! Guess my Bronco is a boy - likes her better 😆
  6. 6,500 road trip in the Bronco, what I learned

Beautiful trip for sure. I am one who agrees with having "just enough" lift to clear flex at full articulation. I've had lifted Jeeps and sitting high is no fun on off-camber situations, as well as degrading on road manners going around curves downhill 😀
  7. Speedometer accuracy change due to tire wear...

Wow, someone needs to get a hobby!
  8. 11 amazing days in Colorado!

Bronco Country - where will your rig take you?
  9. 11 amazing days in Colorado!

Very beautiful. We've been offroading and exploring Colorado for 5 years in a row every summer.
  10. 4.88 or 5.13 with 35s and 7MT

Way back when, when I was getting into offroading, all shops told me to decide what tire size you're going to end up with and design your build around that. If 37's then probably jump to 5.13's. The cost of regearing isn't cheap so why pay a bunch of money just to go to 4.88's which isn't much...
  11. Test Drove a Badlands and Raptor Today :-(

And...we have an honest review folks. The procal tuner didn't produce some magic monster 😀
  12. Test Drove a Badlands and Raptor Today :-(

The torque is essentially the same between the two. What extra torque the Raptor has is probably eaten by the 37's.
  13. Hesitation/Lag after exhaust upgrade

Your turbos rely on exhaust backpressure to make them spin and produce power. You've now reduced that backpressure, so I'm guessing the turbos have less initial turbulence to function off the line or at lower rpms.
  14. Is 2026 Bronco refresh really going to include rectangular headlights?

Let's worry about fixing all the recall issues first!
  15. OEM Heavy Duty Tie Rods Now Available From Ford Performance -- $140.00 For Two

The original post should have clarified that these are replacements if you already have the severe duty steering rack (available on certain trims). My 2024 BadSquatch has it and so these are the replacements at a lower cost for keeping spares when offroading. Is that clear enough? And thank you...
