Hand calculate, the computer is off on mine. I used to own a car that burned so much oil that my motor would be starved sometimes, when that happened my MPG went down to half what it was supposed to! Filled oil back up and it was back to what it was supposed to be so check the oil. At least on...
I heard there’s some bolt in the fuse box that might not have been tightened at the factory. Someone made a checklist to go over when you receive your Bronco, and those fuse box bolts is listed…and symptoms match.
Go reread that thread, yes there is. And have you heard the noise in person? It’s so loud that random people are coming up to the owners and telling them their car are making a noise. Sorry but that’s still an issue. And just wait til this coming winter. It’s definitely temperature related.
Yes, a much higher rate of failure than normal. And at least one transmission that had their oil changed showed up as completely black. That and you don’t understand how loud it is for some transmissions, people are approaching Broncos in the parking lot telling the owners that their car is...
Time to stock up on oil changing supplies if you drive a lot. I use Castro Edge full synthetic for my 2.3L. Don’t forget to take into account those long road trips and not just the work commute. $23.37, cheaper than the $28/29 usually.

Oil analysis won’t show the piston rings being gunked up no matter how clean the results come back as. See the car care nut YouTube channel. There’s also other mechanics that will tell you the same. For turbo engines like the Bronco, I did my first at 3k (due to life getting busy but I wanted to...
Not a Bronco competitor unless it removes all the low body color painted body panels at the bumper and fenders both front and rear. I can smash the front end of my stock badlands on a rock and just respray the mod bumper. Can’t do that on any Toyota vehicle on the market right now. That’s why...
I wouldn’t buy it but it’s not a bad color. Looks better than the purple and bright green imo on jeeps. Stands out too, don’t see a lot of pink cars nowadays.
I used to have a roof mounted bike rack and boy, it reduced both gas mileage and made the car sluggish accelerating past 70 on the highway. Was also loud.
Didn’t notice any of those issues until I took the rack off after years and all of a sudden felt the car being more nimble and way less...
I'm in the same boat, looking for some soft grab handles that is out of the way and tucked high.
Will probably have to buy a grommet kit off amazon and modify the paracord ones since there isnt any on the market that matches what i'm looking for.
Since those of us driving manuals use the parking brake every single time we park, i wonder if the extra use (compared to autos) is causing malfunction on the parking brake motors. Even if the parking BRAKE light wasn't lit on the dash, did you try pushing the parking brake button inward to see...
$51.95 and tax and shipping = 62.79. Expensive but I do like the design since I do short interval 3.5-4k mile oil changes. Might only use it if the OEM one looks like it’s going to break.
