The challenge was the very front curves that go over the back seat foot wells needed to be sculpted or shaved on the bottom side of the boards as the side molding of the truck angles down and in. I did this with a sander by trial and error as I would remove some and place back in the truck...

For me the tie downs are not needed, but you could add them any where on the deck. Cheers,

The carpet was from Lowes for 27 bucks and the wood around $60. I had some 1" square aluminum tubing I used to reenforce the front and 1/2 seal square solid stock to strengthen the middle. The hinge for the trapdoor $14. All said and done less than $120. I am waiting for the summer to cut...

Since the seats do not fold flat it feels like a ton of more room. I also have the wings in the front out to the side of the door, this makes it feel larger. Cheers, HD

It is a very simple process. The area is not about 42.25" wide at the back and 53" inches long. At the front wings out at the front and is 53" wide. Cheers, HD

Replaced my back seats with a free floating deck. Yet to cut out the carpet for the trap door, which is built in before I put the carpet cover on.

Fuse #29 is a 15A fuse and #35 is a 5A. Do you use the same amp fuses on the splice or did you change them up according to the cam amps? I don't know anything about electrical wiring except how to get shocked. :eek:) Thanks HD

Yes, I took the front two snap round holders off and left the rear because you can rotate it up just enough to get to the Torx nut. Unscrewed the Torx and removed the female seatbelt part, put the spring back and reassembled. I guess that might be a pain in the butt if you are taking them in...

Hi, not sure as I don't mbike but the area is 43 inch wide at the back and 53 inches long to the front. The front is 50 plus inches wide. It looks like it would fit two bikes. cheers, HD

The rear seats on a 2-door are very easy to take out. Takes 10 minutes or less. Not sure on the 4-door. HD

I just detach the seatbelt female end clip from the seats and plugged them back in. They tuck in fine under the factory foam carpet. No warning signal sent now. Cheers, HD

Yes, that is water on my leather seats dripping down from the door airbags. :o) HD

Here is the front support. The boards velcro in place to the floor deck. This project cost lest than $100 bucks and is not bolted down, snug fit into place.

You would gain 10 inches of more space.

I did detach the seatbelt from the seats and plug them back in to the wires (tucked back in under the boards) to keep the system from giving me a warning. Not to sure about the airbags. I did not know there were airbags for the rear seats. Cheers, HD
