I'm currently going through different octanes and modes, there's definitely a noticeable difference in miles per gallon with premium over 87, I have yet to calculate it out to see if the miles I'm gaining equals the cost of the fuel, but time will tell. I stated this in another thread, I think...
I completely understand the concept but I think with the timing being advanced for higher octane and may actually be more efficient. I've read several things on here where people say with premium on the highway they're getting better mileage.
I'll be curious to monitor RPMs at certain speeds...
I didn't pay close attention, but I feel like after 1500 miles I started getting slightly better MPG. Dash currently says 19.9 mpg running 89 octane in regular mode. I'm going to keep a better log to see what is optimal.
I have heard high octane increases highway driving quite a bit from other...
I'm currently playing around with different grades of fuel, I don't drive very aggressively and when I'm on the highway I usually set cruise control to 65 mph. It's interesting to watch the miles per gallon go down as I drive on the highway running 2,200 RPMs. I would think it would be gaining...
I'm building a platform for the back seat and I'm going to let my dog ride back there, this thing is super durable so it'll keep his claws from tearing it up.
Nothing wrong with the factory one, just figured this would take me being rough and spilling coffee better haha.
This thread should read "who is still irritated at the bronco ordering process"
Hell yes I'm still irritated and will likely never order another Ford. Straight shenanigans from day one.
Little things like poor floor heat and gaps in roof seal above doors, but so far still stoked and I've had mine since December.
I think the only buyers remorse might be from people that paid crazy prices for them and then regret paying that much.
Even any complaint I have is just to be...
How does this apply to base Broncos that don't have the control? I think it's an issue with the ductwork or vent flaps, I don't think manipulating switches is going to correct it.
Unless I'm reading it wrong, correct me if I am!
I mean I don't see it as being an issue, but I expect a little bit more from a Ford factory part. I order cheap Rock auto parts that look better and hold up better than these.
I'm not very impressed with the metal quality on some of the parts. I think I have 1500 miles on my Bronco and it's never seen any kind of winter road... There is a lot of stuff on it that already has surface rust. I'll try to get a photo, not sure what the answer is, but I'll compare it to my...
Premium fuel? Eco mode? No hills?
I'm trying to figure out how people are getting over 21-22 mpg. It must be because I'm constantly climbing hills where I am.
I feel the same way, 2.3 manual base upgraded to the black diamond steelies with all terrain tires that come on those. I think I went from 30 in to 31.6 in roughly.
I haven't been pushing the Bronco hard because I'm on the at first thousand miles, 65 on the highway, not going super high on...
2.3 manual base with MT
Black diamond takeoffs ATs 265/70R17
18 ish mpg cruising 60-65 with a light foot and regular fuel.
I don't understand how some people are getting 20 miles per gallon??
Has anybody considered the fact that the odometer isn't reading as far as you're actually going? I...
