I agree, this is the right way to do it. It's a win-win for the dealer and the reservation holder. I doubt my dealer could offer me enough, but if they did, I would just have to order the Bronco Raptor as soon as that is open.
I noticed today that when I click on the backdoor link, it goes into a loop and never shows me my build. It was working last week. Anyone else seeing this? And yes, I replaced the reservationId in the link below.

I got my build date using the backdoor link. Verified with the dealer and got my VIN. But I still check daily to see if my build date has been pushed back.

NW Houston here. I have an Eruption Green Metallic WildTrack 4 Door on order with Tomball Ford. Got bumped to the 2022 model which has been ordered through dealer.
Ford should open it up for those with a reservation before it goes to the general public. Would be nice for those of us that got the push to 2022 model year email.
