  1. Complete Stereo Install - Amp, DSP, Speakers and Sub. Lots of Pictures.

A few additional comments about the rear signal. It appears that there is a high pass filter of some sort at 250hz, given the -3dB output at that frequency. If you were to use an EQ and try to increase the output at that same frequency, the results might not be what you expect. I don't know...
  2. Complete Stereo Install - Amp, DSP, Speakers and Sub. Lots of Pictures.

That's the electrical signal measured out of the head unit into the DSP, base sound system (non-B&O). I use the front channels from the head unit as the input signal for all 5 output channels on the amp/DSP.
  3. Complete Stereo Install - Amp, DSP, Speakers and Sub. Lots of Pictures.

Here is a comparison of the electrical output from the front and rear channels playing pink noise:

  5. Base Sound System Electrical Signal - AudioControl DSP View: Front vs. Rear

I currently have the Kicker 47KSS670 6.5" components running passive in the kick panel and the tweeters mounted on top of the dash speaker grilles. I also have the Kicker 47KSC404 coaxials in the rear pods and a second set not currently installed. I was running the components and 4"...
  6. Base Sound System Electrical Signal - AudioControl DSP View: Front vs. Rear

The rear signal seems to have a high pass filter at about 250HZ. That's why tapping into the rear speaker signal for either full range output for a 4 channel or subwoofer amp doesn't work. Most people would prefer to do this though as it's physically closer to where their amplifier will go...
  7. Base Sound System Electrical Signal - AudioControl DSP View: Front vs. Rear

I know there are many posts on here about the signal going to the rear pods in the base sound system. Today I decided to see what it actually looks like electrically through the AudioControl DSP in the D-5.1300 I installed. Front: Rear:
  8. Ultimate Stereo Upgrade Thread

Coaxial 4 inch dash under the component tweeter? How does that sound? Also, is that a 5 channel amp? Which speakers are being driven by the amp? I also went with the Kicker tweeter mounted on the dash speaker grill. I'm thinking about removing them and just running the kicker 4 inch coaxials...
  9. Subwoofer Rattle? I think I gotter licked.

I've narrowed down my rattle to the white plastic part on the left side of this seat belt assembly. This is on the passenger side behind the rear seats. I have the B&O sub enclosure installed with the 8" 2 ohm kicker CompRT shallow mount. Haven't pulled the trigger on re-installing the trim...
  10. B&O sub installed on Base Bronco ….sorta….

Did you ever consider the Kicker L7T? Given that there is a fair amount of modification required already I wonder if it would be advantageous or even possible to use the square sub face with the trim cutout. I ordered the B&O enclosure and am expecting delivery Wednesday. Need to order a sub soon 😀
  11. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

The Black Diamond grille is molded in color black. The hard tops are molded in color gray. Both are called out in the ordering guide. I can't confirm the other plastic trim color from the ordering guide, but it looks to be gray to me.
  12. Ultimate Black Diamond Non-Sasquatch pics thread

Black Diamond grille is molded in color black, the hard top, mirror caps, fender flares and plastic bumpers are all molded in color gray.
  13. Ultimate Stereo Upgrade Thread

To start, I'm considering an AudioControl Amp with built-in DSP, possibly a 5 channel. I like the idea of signal summing and then using the DSP to control crossovers, but am also considering passive crossovers for the front channels. Also, considering some discrete options that can be tucked...
  14. Ultimate Stereo Upgrade Thread

B6G Team, No offense to all those who have just swapped speakers in their Broncos, but can we please get an 'Ultimate Stereo Upgrade' thread going? Let's say the prerequisite is at least one aftermarket amplifier installed. I would love to see some of the more extensive sound systems all in one...
