  2. Serpentine belt exploded and oil pressure went to zero.

65k. But I don’t think age killed it. I had taken it part of the way off to do the turbo swap and I may not have gotten it reinstalled correctly. It failed about 40 miles after the swap.
  3. Serpentine belt exploded and oil pressure went to zero.

Thanks! It’s not in one piece anymore. Pretty major oil leak. Kinda scary that this and the oil cooler sit just a few inches from and in the direct path of the serpentine belt. I really appreciate your help!
  4. Serpentine belt exploded and oil pressure went to zero.

I replaced the oil cooler and that fixed ,the coolant leak and slowed down the oil leak. it appears that whatever the cylindrical sensor to the left of the crank pulley is is where the oil is leaking from. Anyone know what this thing is? thanks in advance.
  5. Serpentine belt exploded and oil pressure went to zero.

So, I put oil in it and it appears the oil cooler got slapped by the belt hard enough to compromise its integrity. It sits directly above the serpentine belt. New cooler is on order. Thanks for your input.
  6. Serpentine belt exploded and oil pressure went to zero.

No oil on the stick. I was just cruising around 70 mph when it happened. No loss of power. Are there oil cooler hoses I can’t see from underneath?
  7. Serpentine belt exploded and oil pressure went to zero.

22 Badlands SAS 2.7 on the way home today the low oil pressure light came on. The serpentine belt is hanging in pieces and oil is everywhere. I dropped the front skid plate and other than belt pieces everywhere I can’t find anything wrong with it. All the hoses appear intact. Any ideas please?
  8. Moar Biggerer Tirboes: Upgrading Turbos on 2.7L Bronco - Helpful Tips

Your comments on the oil check valve just made my day! I couldn’t figure out where it went. The Full Race instructions were misleading. Thank you greatly for this post.
  9. 2.7 Tuner Opinions

I can say that the 4L 3-2 shift issue is still an issue even with the tune. Scared the crap outta me the first time it happened.
  10. 2.7 Tuner Opinions

I've run the ZFG e85 tune for the last 10-12k miles. I can't say enough good things about the way it changed the performance and drivability of my Bronco. Yes, I have most of the mods you can do for performance, but I won't go back. BTW, If e85 isn't available I switch to the 93oct program...

  12. P2AB9 Permanent Wastegate Position Sensor A circuit High Code

I've had this code pop up twice now during hard acceleration. It turns on the CEL and the wrench sign. Boost goes to zero. Each time I have reset the code and pulled the battery cable for a few minutes then everything goes back to normal. Anyone else have this problem and what did you (should...
  13. 0-60 in 4 Seconds - My 2.7 Bronco Performance Modification Thread

Thanks for all of the information you generated on the Bronco. Your the reason my bronco is so quick and also the reason my checkbook is empty, LOL. Have fun with the Raptor.
  14. Oil Pressure Gauge Install

I misspoke about the hot idle pressure. I was trying to recall from memory, which is not as good as it used to be. The gauge really reads 19.5psi +/- at hot idle. I think your calculations are correct. The pressure seems to be partially tied to boost pressure. It goes up as boost increases. I...
  15. Installed KC Day Lighters on my '22.

Installed KC Daylighters on my Bronco. I know they are old school but they is bright!!!
  16. Whipple intercooler vs Cobb - anyone ...?

I've had my Whipple for the last 20,000 miles or so. Easy install, most aftermarket charge pipes fit. It does require the removal of the shutters. That hasn't been an issue in any way.
  17. Do you get people trying to race you ?

Funny, the Raptor drivers try to get me to race quite often. They are sorry when I bite.....
  18. Oil Pressure Gauge Install

Not hard at all. The parts just pop loose. Start in the door jam and work your way up. You can't drill any lower than where I drilled. The HVAC duct is in the way. The tubes and wiring were easy to fish down to the under dash area.
  19. Researching Tunes - Any advantages of where to buy JB4?

4th this. Love my ZFG e85 tune. Totally changes the Bronco.
  20. 0-60 in 4 Seconds - My 2.7 Bronco Performance Modification Thread

I put my air box back on too. It kept tripping the IAT sensor code. Put the box back on and no more sensor issue. Iive and learn. I just wish it was easier to get the filter out to clean it.
