The idea is to get you to negotiate the one area that means something to you and there are only monthly payment, vehicle price and Trade-in if applicable. If you want to pay $200 a month down payment goes up, you want the vehicle price at $40k your trade-in gets devalued you have to have a plan...

No it was the owner. I worked at Ford for 12 years so not naive to the practices. Thats why I asked for him to confirm with Ford. Could he lie, sure. Or maybe it was rolling the dice and hoping. Ford is blowing this by not being more transparent.

Well, what sucks is that I already switched dealers to ensure X-plan, OK “Fraud” how about letting me switch dealers again?
