Could you take a video of yours? I’m almost 100% sure it’s seated all the way. If you look closely, you can see the bumper itself flexing in my video. I don’t think the movement is coming from the bearing.

I was surprised that it’s literally 2 pieces of the same sheet metal used for the mount, just shrink wrapped together. And for me it didn’t come close reaching my mega fuse holder. I didn’t buy one from AAL, but how different can these holders really be dimension wise?

It’s tight, I tightened it to the point of it binding and it still wobbled.

Does anyone else’s bumper flex like this when putting even just a little weight on the spare?

I used everything from 1/0 AWG for the ground connection, 4 AWG for the longer runs to the starter battery, 6 AWG for the battery connectors, and 12-16 AWG for wiring the loads. Lmk when you’re ready for the files and if you need help with anything.

😂 I haven’t installed solar yet and haven’t drained the battery completely. I let it sit for 3 days after installing and there was still some juice left by the time I started driving again. It took maybe one and a half to two hours to get up to 100% charge.
