Also advise to avoid Koons (Woodbridge) I wrote out my story on one of these threads. From what I've also heard, Ourisman (Battlefield) Ford in Manassas and Ted Britt are playing ball, as well as Purvis Ford in Fredericksburg. Who's to say if that's holding true throughout this current chip issue.

@sammie_f94 There is no sound deadening in relation to soft top and lux. The sound deadening is some ugly carpet crap they put on the inside of the hard top. I've said it in other places - it's a tin can with a plastic (or fabric) lid. You just get used to it. I've had a bare hardtop Jeep, soft...

@jkahrs I think I’m going to schedule with TLC next week, the EXO shield product seems to have a good rep. I don’t have experience with other tinters in the area, so I’m still kind of going into this blindly. The windshield needs an overnight to cure, so I’ll just try them out when I can give it...

My build week was over the Thanksgiving, so I didn’t know what to expect. The Wednesday after, the modules went active. Just glad I didn’t hit this second phase of chip nonsense 😞

nerve wracking!! Hope it shows up promptly! Mine went from in production, to built and then showed up the Monday after. The Shipped email showed up as I was standing ifo it in the dealer.

The only other reference to Ourisman I’ve seen locally is someone who had a hookup at the Alexandria location, so they were ok. So far service was OK and parts said they were pretty much keeping everything the same, whereas Cowles almost completely cleaned house and it was a total shitshow over...

Hey does anyone have experience with TLC Auto Detail in Dulles? I’m thinking of getting the Exoshield done, and maybe tint the front windows.
