  1. Bay Area to Tucson road trip report in a Badlands Sasquatch 2.7L

Your impressions of the soft top during that road trip? Did you drive highway speeds with it up and down? How did it do in heavy rains? Thanks
  2. ⛔️ [Update: Scheduling Cancelled For 10/18 Build Week]: Bronco scheduling this upcoming week (of 8/30) for production build weeks 10/4, 10/11, 10/18

Agree, it appears they are just eliminating the week of 10/18. Could be due to status of hard top situation and wanting to maintain flexibility for that week a bit longer. But, would love a more concrete answer from someone with actual intel. Thanks.
  3. ⛔️ [Update: Scheduling Cancelled For 10/18 Build Week]: Bronco scheduling this upcoming week (of 8/30) for production build weeks 10/4, 10/11, 10/18

It's also possible Ford was starting to slot FEs into the production schedule to reserve commodities for those units. If they hold all of them until the last few weeks and then try to squeeze them in, there could be issues with other commodity availability. They may also start building again...
  4. Production Week Scheduling - 8/16

If you take all FE's, Wildtraks, other 4 door MICs and all 2 doors out of the scheduling queue until sometime in October, I'd have to believe the only real commodity constraint left at that point is the number of soft top roofs their supplier can provide, since they only planned on about a 20%...
  5. 📣 Ford announces MIC hardtop solution (program 21B49): unscheduled orders will get MY2022, delivered & built Broncos will have tops replaced

This is what I've said that they should do, as much as it sucks, but the communication all along has been terrible. That said, it IS important that they equip their dealers with info to answer customer questions ahead of pushing an update out to us, and in this day and age, it's impossible to...
  6. Bronco production update 8/9: Commodity issues far beyond MIC tops. Chip shortage reaches Bronco supply chain (NO COVID TALK)

So, if I were you, I'd hold off on getting the new VIN tattoo until you actually take delivery of your Bronco!
  7. Bronco production update 8/9: Commodity issues far beyond MIC tops. Chip shortage reaches Bronco supply chain (NO COVID TALK)

But, this issue isn't anything the market / stock analysts aren't already aware of. In fact, I'm sure there are plenty of stock analysts covering Ford that check these various forums , and they all know what's happening week by week in terms of production and production issues.
  8. Bronco production update 8/9: Commodity issues far beyond MIC tops. Chip shortage reaches Bronco supply chain (NO COVID TALK)

Here's the thing - Ford has tried to string everyone along and keep enthusiasm up in the face of constant delays. At this point, they need to push out a real communication to order holders AND equip dealers with real information to assist their customers. They have been overpromising and...
  9. No Bronco Scheduling Week of 7/26

If I was at Jeep, I'd come out with an conquest incentive offer for any Bronco reservation holders who come in and buy a Jeep and show proof that they subsequently cancelled their Bronco reservation. Now is the time for them to strike back at Ford and steal thousands or purchasers. Jeep has...
  10. No Bronco Scheduling Week of 7/26

Am I remembering correctly that MY22 B&P is releasing early August? Maybe Ford is stalling until then, hoping a lot of order holders will voluntarily flip to a MY22 build, taking it off their backs. That means fewer customers they are apologizing to and potentially offering points or other...
  11. No Bronco Scheduling Week of 7/26

Production shutdown, yes. But scheduling was supposed to resume last week, after the initial order change date of July 16 encouraging people to switch to soft tops. Then they extended that a week through July 23rd, and were supposed to start scheduling again this week. Now it appears no...
  12. "Soft Top Cloth w/ Prep Kit" Option Spotted in Ordering System as Possible Hard Top Prewire (For Retrofit Install)

I think they should just build every Bronco prepped for the hard top. Period. Eat the shipping for MY21 deliveries that order dual tops now and just deliver with the soft top. Solves a number of issues, it would seem. Hell, I’ll drive to Detroit from Ohio to pick up my hard top of I have to.
  13. Despite MAP breaks, Ford says Bronco remains on track for Summer deliveries

Technically fall doesn’t start until September 22, so any deliveries before then are “this summer”...
  14. Bronco Event at Pat Milliken Ford 03/18 - Rapid Red Outer Banks 4-Door

Did you get to see the soft top fully closed? Just wondering how it looks in person. Those rear side windows always look loose and wavy to me.
  15. 📊 Submitted Bronco Orders Tracking List & Stats

Took my build sheet up on Saturday afternoon and met with the Bronco specialist. It was near the end of the day, so he said he'd enter it on Monday and then I'd get my confirmation. I'll add mine to the list once received, but here's my spec: 4 door Badlands A51 MIC Top 2.7 Auto High Package...
  16. Response from Ford about dealers converting Bronco reservations unexpectedly

There's a lot of variation in how dealers are managing this - some of that to be expected. My observation, partially from my own experience thus far, is that I think some salespeople just aren't wanting to spend the time needed with customers to get this done. On one hand, I don't blame them -...
  17. Dealer used my reservation and ordered a Bronco without my permission, on hold with Ford customer care now! ?

My issue is I'm trying to schedule a time to meet with my sales guy to go over some things, and he's just telling me if I don't send him my build ASAP, they'll just skip me and move on. I'm like - that's not how this is supposed to work. And he's being real dodgy about answering my questions...
