Yes I did do the whole top for consitancy.
I am sure Ford would refuse a recall claim on this roof. With all of the horror stories of peoples replacement roofs being worse than their original I felt it was better to deal with the devil I know than the devil I don't. Ford had already denied a...
I used the custom coat on my square drop trailer fenders and frame and has held up fine for the past couple of years.
I will check to see the the cracks how through the coating but this stuff is pretty hard I think the top could crumble away and you would still have a shell of the coating left...
Some time ago I was putting my top back on the Bronco late in the evening when the sun was just right and I noticed small cracks in the MIC hard Top under the driver rear window. then I looked at the very top and found a few more tiny cracks up there. took it to Ford and since I was at 40K miles...
Let me guess it is a 10 mm. I always start any project with a hand full of 10mm sockets tossed into the work area as a sacrifice to the tool gods.
Actually if you take off the door panel you should have access to the area. You can use one of those magnets that telescopes out.
I have four, the 427 Shelby Cobra, first time I ever saw one I literally almost died ( long story)a 1974 Detomaso Pantera passed on buying that to buy a brand new 1992 Grand Am(biggest mistake of my life) 1989 Mitsubishi Starion passed on that one because a guy that was test driving it hit a...
The hard bottom Amazon is what we have, with a Great Dane and a Great Pyrenees, it did not last the whole trip. But it was still usable and I am glad we had it. I realize we were asking way too much of the hammock type with that much dog.
The seams ripped out. But they do work well.
A little plywood piano hinge and paint and you can make something like this yourself. I waterproofed mine with fiberglass resin I had left over from my teardrop build.
but now I am running the Decked system but that is not out yet.
I have always said high mileage in a short time frame is better than, average miles and a longer time frame.
Not as crazy as the OP but I was putting 30k a year on my car for the first 12 years it was the last year when the AC finally gave out and I had to change the spark plugs.
I dunno I would do it quite a bit in my Cobalt mostly just being lazy didn't have to use my left leg on my 2 hour commute each way. I have 375K mile on the clutch. Got 347K miles on the original Belt when I decided to change it when I took it off to replace the alternator.
My driveway is about 3/4 mile dirt gravel road. the GY throw rocks but they also hold them for a long time and send a rock flying several miles after you made it to pavement. They do calm down once you get some miles on them. my BFG K03s throw more rocks than the GY but they don't hold on to...
Man you are right that's what I get for looking at this on my phone didn't notice the winch missing but did notice they removed part of the Glades badge but left just a little piece. You would be surprised how many people don't even know the Everglades existed. Before 2025 all I had to say is I...
