  1. Came out of the grocery store earlier to find that someone had done this to the side of my Bronco

I learned a long time ago. If you are looking for a parking spot, and there are cars parked everywhere but this one spot seems perfect. There is a damn good reason why no one else is parking there so you probably don't want to do that.
  2. Suspicious...

I feel like anything 2 door generally doesn't get pushed anymore but everything else is up for grabs. They know when they will build 2 doors, and that's what they do.
  3. TOMS OFFROAD | Dana Spicer - In Stock!

It's available with an ARB locker also. They may not stock it, but it's available from Spicer. If I were going with 40's these parts would be on my list to support that size and weight of tire if I was regularly going offroad.
  4. My 2-door Cactus Gray Badsquatch (Eibach 2.0, RC winch mount, Apex badland 12k)

I started using these types of things 10 years ago for tapping wires. They work really well, and are more reliable than crimp style connectors.
  5. Cold Feet / Floor Heat?

I live in Minnesota, and it was 1 degree F this weekend. Drove the bronco to some of my grandkid's hockey games around the city and had plenty of heat at the floor. I generally find I need to turn the heat down. I drive with 4 lights on the manual fan, speed lit up, and the setting on defrost...
  6. Mud tires recommendations please

So you have stock Goodyear Territory tires which should work well enough for mud outside of a Mud-specific tire. Anything more aggressive will affect ride quality. Those should work ok in mud. You likely didn't have enough wheel speed to clear the treads.
  7. Lobo Off-Road HNT Hidden Winch Skid For Bronco

The big difference with the standard bumper compared to the capable and modular is that the lower section doesn't go all the way across. the capable and modular are nearly rectangular in shape, but the standard bumper has a chunk cut out that includes the recovery hooks, and the plastic bash...
  8. Told by dealer, Ford is NOT following reservation dates….Meaningless

How many different versions of a GT where there? And how many people actually ordering them? I'm guessing it was a lot less on both.
  9. Lobo Off-Road HNT Hidden Winch Skid For Bronco

That was with the rough country one that positions it between the radiator and the front of the engine. With that one there is room with some modifications to the header tanks of the radiator to have a long threaded rod. The lobo looks like it might be at an angle when mounted so it's not...
  10. Who else has almost ran out of gas ⛽?

I used to drive like that with a Dodge Duranngo I had back in the early 2000's, and went through two fuel pumps. I try to fill back up at a 1/4 tank to reduce the strain on the fuel pump.
  11. Order/Build Advice

Yes, though I recommend watching the video as the quality of the sound is essential for some as well.
  12. 20+ Broncos hit the mountain to find some snow... lessons were learned

You can use decent music in your videos if you don't care who makes money off of the video. Van Halen isn't known for shutting things down. They'll take the ad revenue.
  13. Order/Build Advice

Get in a pickup truck from the early 70s and drive down the highway. Neither the soft top nor the hard top will be as loud as that. But they both are louder than a 2020 pickup driving down the highway. Your saying ease of open-air has me thinking of the soft top for sure, particularly if you...
  14. ROLL BAR DELETE

The roll bar on the bronco adds structural stability, but it's a body-on-frame vehicle so you can take it off if you want. You can also modify it, but when you do modify it, keep in mind, it is actually a roll bar. Attach it properly and understand the forces that will act on it should the...
  15. Checked my account this morning... "In Production"

I love how the Ford devs managed to get the type of vehicle ordered in the email, but really, you can't also say what factory it's being built at? "It's being manufactured at one of our factories, we're not exactly sure, but yeah, it's one of them." That snarkiness aside, good luck to...
  16. OSCILLATING HUMMING NOISE/VIBRATION AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS, GOES AWAY IN 4H

lol, I had to laugh at the dealer replacing the transfer case and not solving the problem. I would love to see the diagnostic tree they used to justify that swap. The warranty train has left the building! Just a vibration or also a sound? What does the frequency of the vibration feel like...
  17. Bronco is CAKED in hardened mud!

Get it off as soon as you can. Better when it isn't completely dry; once it dries, it won't hydrate well again, and it can take forever to get it off. Finding a DIY car wash on the way home is very useful. In addition, it can be acid, depending on the mud and minerals contained in it.
  18. Clueless on what PSI is reading...

It's essentially a manifold pressure gauge that doesn't show negative numbers. Analog boost gauges of the past typically will be pressure gauges that will show negative and positive pressure.
  19. Question about best way to go up a steep snow-covered, rocky hill?

As you found, the front locker really is only for when you need the extra traction and don't need to steer. In the snow there are two ways of dealing with it. Since you were on rocks, you needed to clear the snow out of your tire treads and heat up your tires to get traction. Other times...
  20. Imagine a World : What would dealers order?

Imagine a world where Ford has canceled all reservations, all orders, and you can only pick from what dealers order for their stock. What Bronco's would be available at the dealer? I would guess. Very few 7-speeds would be on the dealer lot. Most, if not all, Base vehicles would have the 2.3...
