  1. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

I had to look up Jim Farley. Crazy its Chris Farley's cousin is running Ford. Kinda makes sense now
  2. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

Fair point but I do love driving it. I dont think I would have created the post if just the assembly and qc was done well enough. I can live with the plastics, road noice, cheap sound system. I didn't buy it for luxury. I think the biggest issues is seeing the trim wear away in less then two...
  3. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

Good to know about the LC. It was the first thing that came to mind when spotting all the imperfections on the bronco and thought maybe I should have waited for that.
  4. Yay! Adding my MIC top failure to the list!

I'm surprised not to see any comments saying "Just enjoy it and quit looking at it so much". Are the wave patterns known to evolve into a problem like warping or are they generally cosmetic. I have on both removable pieces but nothing so far on the back shell.
  5. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

You might I think you might be right. Even on a larger scale with just about anything being manufactured now. Im barely 40 and I'm starting to see each year the quality of everything declining rapidly. Planned obsolescence is at its peak it seems. Maybe cars will end up being on the same...
  6. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

You can get custom colors/patterns! haha (Not that the ones they offer look good). I got black. But they are made to order. even has a vented cut out for the sub. Will do. I touched up many of the small paint chips (and they were pretty small) so you can barely see them anymore. But they were...
  7. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

I can post a picture when I install the canvas liner. It's just for the trunk area made by canvasback. wanted something I could remove and clean because of muddy dogs and avoid gouges in the side plastic when transporting gear. I might hate it but, wanted to try something prior before letting it...
  8. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

I really appreciate the response. I understand it's important not to fixate on the minor details in life and just to enjoy things as they are. I dont think its necessary the wrong vehicle, just the wrong manufacturer. If it were built in a Toyota factory I dont think I'd be here. This is just a...
  9. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

This. Maybe this is what I was thinking all along. It's certainly true more often than not.
  10. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

I'm not talking so much about engines or transmissions (though both vws worked flawless). It's mainly body alignment, materials, weatherstripping, paint quality, etc I'm referring to.
  11. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

I sometimes do wonder if that is the case. I have only seen other late 24's with the same top alignment issue.
  12. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

I want to emphasize. I love the drive of it. I love the design of it. Just wish it were even remotely on par with most other manufactures with materials and construction. Not looking for luxury. Just basic QC. There is certainly a lot to love about it if you overlook the construction details...
  13. First new Ford...Probably the last Ford

I picked up my 2dr 2024 Big Bend a couple months ago. I thought I saw enough YouTube videos and browsed the forums. I wish I would have read more of these forums in hindsight and relied far less on the YouTube excitement videos. The last ford I had was a 91 probe in high school back around 2001...
  14. Passenger Front Door Not Closing -Window Down works

I was about to try the window tilt adjustment method you mentioned earlier in this thread as i am/was 99% sure this is what im experiencing. Door is harder to close and appears like the window is touching the seal earlier than the door that closes easily. You said the tilt adjustment didnt fix...
  15. One Door Does Not Shut As Good As Other Three Doors

I think this is happening with by drivers side. window has a slight wobble sound when opening/closing and it takes more effort to get a good final clasp of the door when closing. In my case i would need to adjust the bottom window regulator nuts more toward the interior of the door correct...
  16. Driver side window wobbles upon opening

What do you mean by aligning with the plastic guide in the corner?
  17. Is an upgrade speaker swap worth it

I never really thought about the distance of the rear speakers (and sub) in a 2dr vs 4 but I imagine it’s pretty big. I have a 2dr big bend and replaced both dash and rear speakers with kickers, then made the adjustment in the sound settings of having it set to “driver” as the listening...
  18. Is this the infamous MIC top delamination on my 2024?

Mine is also show This looks very similar to my '24 at the moment. My late '24 also has a very similar pattern. Has yours changed since this? are the panels not warped but just appear to be in the light?
  19. No Key Detected HELP

It’s a long shot but maybe disconnect the vehicle battery wait for any risidual power to drain and reconnect. I once had a console error in a vw and it resolved that by forcing a complete reboot.
  20. No Key Detected HELP

Do you have other key fobs attached to the same key ring? The reason why I ask is if my building key fob is sitting in the cupholder with my bronco key a lot of times it thinks that the key isn’t detected anymore. Like they’re interfering with each other?
