  5. Are you a top tier gasoline user?

There's guy who sneeks every night and pours a cap full of additives into each tank. Fulfills the legal requirement.....People feel good because they got their additives.
  6. Trail Turn Assist - who finds it useful?

All these buts, ifs, and maybe's go away if you can simply disconnect the rear axle. The front end simply pulls you around with NO strain on the rear end. Old school twin stick. I've turned around in the middle of a switchback on Black Bear Pass with a twin stick Dana 20. No sweat.
  7. Trail Turn Assist - who finds it useful?

A much more useful and less distructive feature would be a rear axle disconnect in the TC. I've had it in my CJ5 for years and it does the same thing without locking up a brake.
  8. Flat Tow failure

Historically, after the early 1960's, automatic transmissions did not have rear pumps so there is no oil flowing for drive or lubrication if the front pump is not turning. The front pump is only driven by the motor flywheel. That's why you can't push start a car with an automatic transmission...

  11. New Ditch Lights thoughts?

Yeah, they shut off at about 2 mph. A manual switch to turn them on, not a "please computer, turn them on".
  12. New Ditch Lights thoughts?

There wouldn't be a need for "Ditch lights" if we could just manually turn on the under-mirror lights.......
  13. Thoughts? No spending another $5,000 I’m a poor.

Hint......It's too clean and it's in a mall parking lot.
  14. 4WP Bronco Rear Bumper - Crazy Deal!

I did not blank off the right side light hole and the bumper ends do look a bit unfinished, but I like that the bumper ends will lift the Bronco with a hi-lift jack. Honestly, the sale price at Walmart was what got me to buy it. It turned out to be the best $325 I've spent on the Bronco. Good...
  15. 4WP Bronco Rear Bumper - Crazy Deal!

A small piece of mudflap like material and a couple of pop rivets would fix it. I'll get to that eventually but it's not very high on my list. It's really not very noticable unless you zoom in to only the gap.
  16. 4WP Bronco Rear Bumper - Crazy Deal!

I found that if the rest of the bolts are torqued down first that tab will bend up to the frame without moving the bumper.
  17. 4WP Bronco Rear Bumper - Crazy Deal!

I just finished installing the 4WP rear bumper on my 2025 Badlands an hour ago. It is heavy but looks well designed and well built with good welds and lots of bracing. It's strong enough for a high lift jack on the bumper ends but the bottom edge is angled a bit but that's easily fixed. All of...
  18. 4WP Bronco Rear Bumper - Crazy Deal!

Does this bumper come with the D-ring brackets? Walmart pictures show with and without.
  19. What the hell is Ford doing?

this has been a fun thread to follow......
  20. What do I have when the diffs aren't locked?

That's called an operator issue. Get out of the gas, it's not a motor boat.
