Sorry, I think you missed my point. I was simply replying to the vendors assertion that they were going to charge a premium price (see their response above) and explaining their potential logic. What I type on a forum is not going to change their calculus, they've been in business long enough to...
I think for some it is frustrating and for others it is nice to have the information. Truly just depends on your perspective. Hard to speak for ADV because I don't know them, but teasers may help them 1) drum up interest (we could argue this is not necessary) and/or 2) get some active feedback...
Few thoughts:
- compared to my 1995 Jeep Wrangler (only good vehicle reference point) the soft top is not loud at all, even at higher speeds. In my opinion, you can have a normal conversation. Is it louder than my wife's Lexus SUV, yes, and so she complains that it's "loud" but it's all...
Just a guess here - you may need to un-link Ford Pass. They connected mine at the dealership but I was in that menu the other day. I think you can turn it off and that may un-invite the tracking. I've been getting that message as well from time to time, not every time the vehicle turns on...
@Coloradonatives Definitely targeting one of these in the spring then, if I can work the schedule. There's something to be said for using the vehicles there...is that what most people are doing rather than taking their own vehicles?
@Mike E Looking forward to it. I'll keep my eyes on it. Is there a more local club on here that you'd recommend, this being the general Colorado group...?
Hi everyone,
Received my Bronco in early Dec and starting to do some research on the best way to learn how to use it. I have 0 offroad experience but very interested to learn. I'm an avid hiker and fly fisherman, recently moved to Longmont, and so having a capable 4x4 vehicle was high on the...
Thanks for the info. I have been in contact with them as well and looking forward to an aftermarket hardtop option. The only thing I dislike on my vehicle is the soft top. I could probably live with the noise, but 1) it looks pathetic and 2) no structure for roof mounting accessories. Could...
Leaves you short a lock and lugs for the spare...would be nice if they made one of these specifically for the Bronco where they factor that in. I think I read in the thread or elsewhere some comment on these installation kits.
I have a non-Sasquatch Badlands with the upgraded wheel option, which is still 17". I can't imagine the lug size would be different on a Sasquatch but it's often the little things...I don't track the differences in the products quite as closely as many here do so maybe someone else could...
Just finished the swap with the McGard lugs and locks. The McGards are taller and don't have the bulge/ring, so if you really look closely you can see a little unpainted metal at the base of the nut. Not going to bother me, but would only take a quick touchup to make that go away.
Thanks for posting. Looks really good. Considering the same swap because I do like the wheels. These are 12.5" wide correct? Would a 1" level in the front prevent the slight full lock rubbing or is it a width issue?
Is this the exact product you bought (class C)...
