  1. New Hampshire

Motorcycle week this year is June 8-16. There's a lot of activities centered around Laconia, which is pretty close to Gilford and you can certainly expect increased traffic and it will be harder to get lodging.
  2. New Hampshire

Looks like this year opening date will be May 17. https://thebronconation.com/news/bronco-off-roadeo-summer-2024-dates-now-open-for-all-locations-t.20180/
  3. How does the credit work?

Yeah, you'll need to use the VIN to register. As you are signing up it will prompt you for your VIN to verify that it hasn't already been used. Enjoy both your new Bronco and your trip to Off-Roadeo.
  4. NH Off-Roadeo - Oct 16

Personally I would prefer any day that isn't a Sunday. Everything about the other days just flows better. There are some additional variables that come in to play, especially on Sunday, but I would have a strong preference for not attending on Sunday.
  5. New Hampshire

Last year opening date was May 19th. I'd expect something similar this year. I haven't heard an official starting date for this year. Usually they don't open up reservations until a couple months before the actual dates, so as others have said March timeframe is reasonable.
  6. Auto Parking brake causing issues off road

At BOR NH they teach switching steps 2 and 3, but either way works. Making sure that the parking brake is set, and taking load off the parking pawl is accomplished either way. In the category of being technically correct, you actually can shift from neutral to park without putting your foot...
  7. Off-Roadeo Driving Own MT Badlands or Supplied Buck?

Thank you Kirk. The kind words are much appreciated. If people come in with a good attitude, are open to learning, and are willing to accept the fact that we may not be able to match them with a copy of their exact vehicle, people generally have a great day. I agree, the manual vs auto...
  8. Off-Roadeo Driving Own MT Badlands or Supplied Buck?

You are not allowed to take your own vehicle out. That's not even a choice. You'll drive one of their vehicles. There are no manuals available in NH, only automatics. Most vehicles in NH are 4 doors, but there are a few 2 doors. Most vehicles are Badlands, but there are a few Wildtracks and a...
  9. New Hampshire

Assuming that it's raining reasonably hard, the rain will wash the leaves (and dirt) off the steep parts, which in general will improve traction. The wet leaves might make the flat sections a little slippier, but as long as you're going slow that will be fine. Please do bring rain gear. Yes...
  10. Bronco Off-Roadeo NH experience

It's a hard question to answer in a straight forward way. Trail ratings are extremely subjective. If you are talking about what most "stock vehicles" can do the Gunstock trails are at least moderate. If you are talking about what purpose built off road vehicles can do, they are probably...
  11. Hotel recommendations for Off-Roadeo, NH

Hey Kirk! It was a pleasure having you all and nice to talk about Oklahoma things. We really hope you all enjoyed your day. The other guy helping out that day was Chandler.
  12. Is buying the offrodeo damage waiver good idea?

I'm not going to say whether you should or should not pay for the damage waiver, but would like to clarify a bit about how it works. It's doesn't pay for $3500, it limits your liability to $3500 if the vehicle is damaged. I do recommend that people check with their vehicle insurance company and...
  13. Is buying the offrodeo damage waiver good idea?

Ha. I remember that John. That "scary rock" that you (and the person who steered slowly slowly into the tree) tried to get around has been excavated and removed from that turn. If you aren't paying attention to things you can still mess up and hit the tree on the passenger side, but at least the...
  14. NH Off-Roadeo - Oct 16

Jordan is awesome. Glad you enjoyed your day in NH!
  15. Can you go to off-roadeo if you bought a bronco but didn't order it?

I agree. It's based on the VIN, not the person. If you buy one used and the PO didn't use their trip, you can still use the VIN.
  16. Can you go to off-roadeo if you bought a bronco but didn't order it?

The Gilford location closes mid November and reopens mid May.
  17. Can you go to off-roadeo if you bought a bronco but didn't order it?

Yes, you can attend if you have purchased "off the lot". You can also attend if you have ordered a Bronco that hasn't been delivered yet. As others have said, as long as you have a VIN that hasn't been used for Bronco Off-Roadeo you can attend (some limitations apply). You do have to pay for...
  18. New Hampshire

As Firehawk said, yes you are more than welcome to bring a cooler. In the morning you'll be around Basecamp for the first couple of hours. You really won't need to bring those things with you in the morning, but you can if you want. After the ORX course you will be assigned vehicles for the day...
  19. Off Roadeo NH 8/19

Wave 2, the 9 a.m. wave had 6 vehicles that day. Were you Mike in Bronco 2 or Mike in Bronco 3? If I remember correctly both Bronco 2 and 3 had Mikes as drivers. According to my logs, both Rob and Evan had 7 vehicles that day. We got lucky and only had 6. We were within about 10 minutes of...
  20. Bronco Off-Roadeo NH experience

The trail guides are required to ride shotgun in the lead vehicle. Usually the trail guides try to find someone who didn't bring a guest with them to drive the lead vehicle, so that they aren't putting a guest in the back seat, but it could happen, depending on the make up of the group.
