  1. Windrock weekend excursion with Blue Ridge Broncos

Looks like a fun weekend! Looking to come over to Windrock sometime after Labor Day so I'll keep a lookout for another Bronco get together there!
  2. FIRST right-hand drive Bronco in Australia 🇦🇺

Back in the day Australia had a pretty high import tax based on the fair market and or purchase price of the vehicle. So people would sometimes grab a base model of a vehicle, import it, register it, and then go crazy with parts either from a higher end model and or aftermarket. I don't know...
  3. New Video!!! The Rubicon Trail Stock Bronco Raptor

@popo_patty - thank you for the offer and I will definitely reach out when I get a firm window to see if it works for you. Would be awesome to go with someone who is local and has guided a Raptor through even a portion. Cheers in advance!
  4. We're in a Beachy Mood!!! Show us your Rig on Sand!

    Somewhere in Utah :)
  5. New Video!!! The Rubicon Trail Stock Bronco Raptor

Awesome and thank you again! On the general advice and crawling versus throttling out, I’m with you there. Specific to the Rubicon and spots that are tight, I For October I’ll shoot you a pm or post to see if anyone else is game to join in the fun :) For the fenders, I don’t mind some...
  6. New Video!!! The Rubicon Trail Stock Bronco Raptor

First congratulations and second, thank you! When you have time a few quick questions as I’m going to try and run the Rubicon in a Raptor this fall. 1) Beyond tie rods, the exhaust, and parts you mentioned pulling, are there any parts (especially specific skids) you’d want to add before...
  7. Bronco suspension fail of the day

Fwiw - had a shock pop through the mount when wheeling a JK years ago and I’d echo the advice above - don’t cut the rod.
  8. Build planning and what people have actually broken?

    Legendary. Really appreciate it!
  9. Build planning and what people have actually broken?

On the fuse and I bad idea - don't get me wrong, again, I'd rather not do trail repairs. But if I am going to do a trail repair (and when I have had to help others in the past) I will take a rod over a rack. Point taken on either keeping a smaller tire to avoid the issue, or getting...
  10. Build planning and what people have actually broken?

Speechless. Appreciate the first hand experience with these.
  11. Build planning and what people have actually broken?

Thank you @DewarT and @Valhalla On the fenders - I gave up street queen status on the maiden trip so I hear you on trying the factory fenders first / running them till they tear. My ideal would be a more flexible fender (like the old MCE fender for TJ’s and JK’s) but I don’t think there are...
  12. Build planning and what people have actually broken?

@TruckCamper - first, thank you for the time and second, for helping me to save doing some things twice (aka spending more ). When you do get a chance to share your build I'm sure quite a few people would love to see it! On the steering - Tie rods - I left the Foutz tie rod support off...
  13. Build planning and what people have actually broken?

So pulling from the collective wisdom here, and from a few chats at the Raptor Off Roadeo, I wanted to get some feedback on build plans, and in particular, I wanted to see if people could share some experience with tires, winch solutions, and parts that they have broken. All of my old builds...
  14. New Braptor border to border run with 500 miles of offroad fun

You will have an awesome time! You can break up the drive out west or just bomb through and slow down in Colorado :). If heights are a thing, the only place I’d really think twice about from my list would be Shaffers. So instead of going into the park and doing switchbacks down the cliff just...
  15. New Braptor border to border run with 500 miles of offroad fun

West Tennessee / mid-south. Closer to the Ozarks than the Smokies… Haven’t wheeled in state in ages but always up for recommendations!
  16. New Braptor border to border run with 500 miles of offroad fun

@Ford Motor Company and @Baja Bronco - most welcome and thank you!
  17. 3 Week old Bronco- New Windshield

I planned to do Exoshield but picked up a nice chip on the way home from the dealer. I was lucky, knock on wood, that it didn't turn into a spiderweb after a road trip so I'm just calling it good for now.
  18. SHADOW BLACK Bronco RAPTOR Photos Thread

You're being kind on the photo (have to clean up a few shots) but most welcome and thank you! It would have been a fun trip in a few older vehicles, but it was more fun (and on time) in the Braptor :).
  19. New Braptor border to border run with 500 miles of offroad fun

Following up on a quick intro, I wanted to share some thoughts and trail reviews from a recent 5,000 mile (ish) trip where I managed to sneak in close to 500 miles offroad. I don't count gravel county roads as truly off-road so rounding down :). I picked up a new Bronco Raptor in Georgia, paid...
  20. TopSpeed Article: 20 Reasons Bronco is Better Than Jeep

Spot on. I was going to say an AI outline drafted for someone who hasn't been offroad. I couldn't get past the third line but skimmed down... I'll share some more thoughts elsewhere but I was on the fence between a Wrangler with the 392 (finally after decades of V8 swaps, a factory option :) )...
