  1. Disappointing Off-rodeo in NH

Very similar experience on 9/23, also had Chris as our guide. We had a total of 8 units, 4 for each guide. Having no real "off-roading" experience I thought Chris did a superb job teaching. We used the lockers and trail turn assist in multiple places that day.
  2. New Bronco fender badge from Bronco Depot USA looks awesome

The nice thing about the non-Sasquatch Base is that there isn't a sticker to worry about.
  3. 📬 9/16 Scheduling Email Received Group!

I got two of those today, crazy thing is that I'm registered for the New Hampshire Off-Rodeo for next Thursday.
  4. "Dirt mountain" Bronco storage lot - video & pics from today

Cog Railway still a terrific experience
  5. First Look: 2022 Bronco in Hot Pepper Red

It's really about presentation. It's the whole combination, selling the "new" color on a 2dr just isn't right when tens of thousands of 2 doors have been delayed with some of those losing their ordered color. What was the rush to offer a new color? The whole production cycle for the Bronco is...
  6. "Dirt mountain" Bronco storage lot - video & pics from today

Arizona highest peak is Mt. Humphries at 12,637 with a prominence (elevation gain) of 6,039 compared to New Hampshire's Mt. Washington peak at 6,288 with a prominence of 6,148. So sure the peak is higher but the climb to the top is not. Mt. Washington weather is known as some of the worst in the...
  7. "Dirt mountain" Bronco storage lot - video & pics from today

After you hike up Mt. Washington in New Hampshire let me know
  8. First Look: 2022 Bronco in Hot Pepper Red

I thought the excuse for not continuing the Blues were due to the 12 vats of color limitation? So how did this '22 color get painted while they are still producing all of the '21 colors for another 3 months?
  9. Ford Ranger Splash is back, will the Bronco get the limited-run colors as well?

My '93 Caymen Green 2dr Explorer Sport, 5spd, 4x4 with electronic locking front hubs
  10. LOL - you can’t make this up

That says it all for this lame article
  11. Rapid Red/Antimatter Blue Complaint Line

See the announcement by Ford on the Ranger Splash special limited edition colors that are planned for MY22 to be "dropped in every couple of months". That's not right with the so called explanation that they are limited to the 12 color supply vats
  12. [Update: Scheduling Cancelled For 10/18 Build Week] Granger Bronco Scheduling Previews as of 8/31. Including 2-Door and MIC top

Didn't Ford say no new production of hard tops until all delivered units and Dirt Mountain units had their tops replaced except for First Editions? How is it that Granger has (4) new 2 doors in the que?
  13. Ford Ranger Splash is back, will the Bronco get the limited-run colors as well?

This is most interesting that Ford was emphatic that the discontinued colors for Bronco would no longer be available for the ordered MY21's pushed to MY22 but they can offer limited batches of a special color for Ranger? Just something else to irritate the delayed Bronco owners
  14. New Hampshire Bronco Off-Rodeo Report

I'll be there the 23rd also
  15. New Soft Top Option For Bronco 2-Door Showing in B&P?

Don't you find this rather odd that suddenly there are multiple options for "soft" tops and possibly a 2 door version and no announcement alerting us to the option? Also, if this canvas top is really an option for the 2 door then why not offer as substitute for the MIC top. Doesn't make sense.
  16. Installed 33 inch tires on stock Base rims - no mods required

So only thing to adjust would be for the diameter affecting speed/odometer?
  17. Mind = blown: Turns out other companies can't make vehicle right now either!

Just received an email from a local residential HVAC company that installed a new furnace for me back in April. "All manufacturers have been affected by COVID-19 in varying ways. Some were hit earlier than others due to outbreaks in their facilities some were affected later, forcing them to shut...
  18. Line in the sand ⏳

Target date is next June for partial retirement so no real "line". The longer the wait the shorter the time I would use it to commute 70 miles per day. Also buys more time to accumulate the savings to pay in full at delivery. Would have loved it for this Ohio summer/fall season but can wait.
  19. 2.3L Big Bend MPG after 784 miles: 20-25 MPG

I once had a bigger brick, '76 Econoline, 3 spd, 300 straight six, good workhorse engine but I got only 15mpg so 20-22 looks good to me. I'm thinking I might do a bit better since I drive fairly conservatively and get 2-5 miles better than sticker mpg typically.
  20. Bronco Email 7/30/2021 -- Is this a sick, cruel joke Ford?

6 week old "news"? Really dumb.
