Picking up the Bronco tomorrow... Not so fast! Airbag light wont turn off. No idea why. Can't sell it until it's fixed
  2. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

Here's one for you. My wife ordered a Taycan over the weekend and this is their tracking experience. It certainly "looks" better with a countdown, the seemingly exact track the vehicle will take, and updated current location (yet to be built with an EDD of 66 days). Hell of a lot more pleasant...
  3. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

Just got the call. It's ready for pickup on Thursday. $2000 discount from sticker (Laura Ford tried to tell you). $250 price protection. $100 off for Ford Pass points (more hot come later apparently). $1000 accessory credit tentative. No other add-ons or fees and I didn't reserve until...

Palsapp now flipped from pending to "dispatched 2/8". Also now shows a trip #. It's in a lot an hour away. Anybody know if that means it's actually on a truck? Edit: Called the palsapp people and they say it can be "either ready for pickup or on a truck". They obviously won't give VIN specific...
  6. Ice Mountain Tracker (Dirt Mountain v2.0)

Yes, 1/5 blend that sat as "shipped" for a couple weeks but was still sitting at the factory. Mine arrived at a rail yard 1 hour from the dealership last Friday or Saturday (confirmed by the CS # and my dealer). Stock images popped up on the dealer web site on Sunday and EDD went from 2/8 to...

These won't scratch the windows as long as you are reasonably gentle and you never run them through a dryer. Washing is okay but the dryer will melt the fibers a bit and make them scratchy. I use them on gloss black interior trim and they don't ever leave the slightest mark...

Oooof. Expensive. You can't make money that way. Oracal is great for window signs and such. When I bought a vinyl cutter from US Cutter, they gave me a bunch of Greenstar so I tried it. It's around 30% less $ and I have some signs now going on 10 years old in Florida (hour or so of straight sun...

Thicker calendared vinyl tends to have a memory and it pulls away from the edges/shrinks. Curves are a problem as calendared vinyl tends to want to pull away. It can also bubble. Cast vinyl costs a lot more but it is thinner, uses less aggressive adhesive so it can be removed easily or...

1/6 blend. Dealer site just updated with stock images, edd changed from 2/8 to 2/11, and palsapp finally updated with origin (train yard about an hour from dealer) and destination. Any day now.
  11. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

1/5 blend #7215 Has been "shipped" since the 11th with arrival estimate of 1/28 that got pushed to 2/8 with no information. Just confirmed it finally got loaded on a train for a 5 hour trip. Dealer says to expect it "within 3 weeks" due to backup at the final holding yard (trucker...
  12. Ice Mountain Tracker (Dirt Mountain v2.0)

The line keeps moving with priority. Those incomplete Broncos on the lot can't become an even bigger problem by impacting even more builds. Say it takes an hour to go back to each truck on the lot to install a module and test it. Hypothetically say they have 1000 trucks waiting for those parts...
  13. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

That's not correct. You can't sell insurance in Florida without a license and they don't have one.
  14. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

The thing about tires is that it's all a game of compromise and you really should buy tires based on how you will actually use them. For example, I'm in Florida so I'm in a lot of stop & go traffic and aggressive driving where stopping power and quick maneuvering is a must. Rain is also a huge...

The numbers on the windows... someone check the spreadsheet.
  16. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

Still sitting there? Hold up? With a 1/7 blend, it was probably just finished 2 days ago. It has to wait to be picked up. Patience man.
  17. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

Ramp One on the WS is a first destination. Not an origin. My origin is Ramp 58. I called the 800# and they told me it is "at ramp 58 waiting to be shipped now".
  18. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

I'm convoy too and my dest. is on the list but not the current location Ramp 58.
  19. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

Right. Based on my WS and final dest., that should be the first cross dock between MAP and the dealership. CE4G doesn't appear to show up on the list.
  20. 🛠 1/3/22 Build Week Group

Thank you. Unfortunately, that's missing a lot of ramp codes and 58 isn't listed. MAP has a code but it's a facility code, not a ramp code. My WS says CA6K which is a first destination and that is listed but not the current location. Wouldn't care if I didn't have a flight to book to go get it.
