The demos I saw a few months back had them, and the mannequin my local deal just got that I test drove had them. All super noticeable and pretty deep scratches. The reps at the preview all said it was due to user error and people not knowing how to properly raise and lower the top.....yeah...
@McBadlands I get that. I'm about to move to DC so honestly the manual seems like a terrible idea. I haven't driven a manual Jeep, but I would be really annoyed if a new car of any kind had that problem. #savethemanuals though! 😂😂
@McBadlands I enjoyed it and thought it was nice. It felt smooth and easy to figure out where the clutch engaged, not too long not too short. It didn't feel too lose or tight either. My 01 Cabrio definitely goes all the way to the floor easy, but that's on me needing a new cable and a million...
@Wanted33 I was actually really really impressed! It was a smooth ride compared to the Saharas I've driven and even compared to my Tundra. I felt like it had a good amount of pick up to it. I could definitely pull out in traffic and get up to speed easily. It was for sure louder than expected...
@tomcartmeljr oh ok I did a few of those too. So far the only test drives I've seen are at J.C.Lewis. I might head down there next weekend just to see how it handles.
I'm just going to cave and buy ones from another trim. I'm 1000% confident if I try to do anything on my own to it, it will look like a 5year old did it...or I'll just break it 🤦♀️
You need a Think Pink ribbon! Or a few 🤷♀️ I do like the idea of painting the emblem though! I'm Iconic Silver and will be throwing pink accents about....and of course things will get crazy in October
Just putting it out there that Jones Ford in North Charleston said they would be getting 1 mannequin, but it would strictly be for the service department as a loaner while someone was getting their vehicle worked on.
@Wookiee 😂 Understandable! I have a feeling Palmetto will be weird about it. Hopefully Jones Ford or somewhere reasonably close will have them....maybe I'll just stalk all lowcountry dealers and test all the trims 😂😂
