8.1 seconds is extremely slow! For a twin turbo V6 with 10 speeds? The old ancient outdated 4Runner everyone is making fun off is 8.0 roughly. So let me recap: it canāt tow more than the Rubicon because itās too heavy and it has the weaker transmission R60 and now itās slower than a Rubicon that...
Ford dealers are pushing Ford to delay customers so that they can sell Broncos on their lots and increase profits, dealers are not making money off these orders and reservation holders! Wake up people.
Why canāt they make a metal version of the MIC top? Or if thatās difficult then a shell with a sun roof or no roof! Whatever just stamped sheet metal-roof by Ford!
So basically unless I compromise Iām getting mine in ā23? Not OK! Well perhaps this is best news since Iām going to see what the new 4Runner will be. Hey Ford, I would love to pair the ol mustang with a Bronco but I guess it may not happen. FYI there are other choices out there.
I'm not getting a Jeep Rubicon but just for the sake of MPG comparison:
2021 4 door
Wrangler JL Unlimited Rubicon 4x4
Cylinder configuration: V-6
Drive type: four-wheel
Engine liters: 3.6
Engine location: front
Front locking differential
Fuel economy city: 17mpg
Fuel economy combined: 19mpg...
Sadly many will read your post and just tell u one of these responses: A. Go get a Jeep and be happy with it or B. Cancel your order so I will jump forward in line. People will gloss over your comment because either they donāt know or care to talk about good mechanical topics for discussion...
This process of not being forthcoming and releasing specifications is deceiving in my opinion. This forum has picked up on many issues and called out for answers: from the GVWR, to towing, to MPG, the release of information is not there. Ford designed the Bronco from the Base to FE with similar...
No Its not, we have been deceived / shined many times by Ford. We (members of this forum) are doing what real reporters should be doing, finding the truth not just taking things that are forced fed by the the people in charge. We want the truth.
This just enough transmission is not OK in a $60k off road vehicle. It just isn't, when one is doing heavy rock crawling.... Perhaps the 2.3L will be OK with the 60 but the 2.7 needs to have the equal to Ranger setup........ there is no way the Ranger should have a better transmission than a...
Its def not a replacement for the Bronco but If someone needs a new car and cant wait a year........... well..... its a good option if you are not Mr. X games off road guy that needs a frame with lockers all around. Plenty of positives and Negatives to both vehicles. Looks like a great vehicle...
Waiting for my May Ford delivery ETA email. My mom always said itās good to keep your options open and always have a backup plan. I might consider the Timberline if my order gets pushed out to far in ā22. Anyone else think this Explorer is a great consideration? It looks fantastic, looks capable...
You are right on the MPG but not only that, hopefully every dealer will get a Bronco for their customers to test drive and or sit in. I for one would love to drive this damn thing. Bring it!
They are changing the 22 modular top for the better., lighter and hopefully stronger. Iām also glad that by year 22 they will produce enough Broncos to get the kinks out of the first year build quality issues.
Thatās a great question. Since Iām a 22 anyway because I want the dual tops with black paint can I switch my paint color to 22 because Iām a 22 anyway?. When do we have confirmation of 22 paint colors. When is the last date I can change my 22 Bronco?
Really nice write up. I have already posted once before about my 2000 Tundra TRD 4x4 that has 270k miles almost original. Sure I swapped shocks and springs and tie rods / ball joints including two timing chains and one starter, but other than that itās flawless. Itās the perfect balance of...
