  1. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

I am willing to go to the HD springs in the rear if the standard springs don't give me enough lift when loaded. I am assuming Eibach sells the HD springs separately.
  2. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

I have no preconceive idea that the adjustment is going to be easy. I just know it is doable without having to take the suspension apart. That is what I am looking for. If need be I can tailor a pipe to help me with leverage. Being an engineer, I am pretty good with coming up with ideas to...
  3. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

Eibach website shows the preset for the Badlands is; front=2.3, rear=2.4. The range is front=0.3/2.6 rear=1.7/3.1. There is not much to adjust up on the front but as you said there is room to adjust down. There more to adjust up in the rear, but it is still not a lot. As you indicated...
  4. 2024 Guage cluster. Can it become better?

That would be a 70 Torino. The 69 had a round tach. I like my Badlands cluster. I don't know what is to not like and I am old school when it comes to cars.
  5. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

mpeugeot, that helps me a lot. Do you know where the front and rear springs were set? It looks like 250lbs on the rear makes it drop 3/4". That is significant but can be adjusted out if the rear springs were not adjusted near max.
  6. Receiver issue - any way to fix?

One thing you can do is have Line-X coating done on the part that goes into the receiver. Determine how much gap is there and see if they can build up enough to make it fit. If they put it on too thick you can sand or grind it down to make it fit. I did this with a urethane coating I developed...
  7. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

That pretty much agrees with the information on the Eibach website. They indicate 11/16" adjustment at the front spring collar provides 1" change in ride height at the front. That is just a little more than 150% but close enough.
  8. Solar Power Systems for Bronco by Cascadia 4x4

Sounds like a nice system. However I need at least 100W to keep my battery charged for my refrigerator.
  9. X-plan lookup - looks like the site has changed!

In November, I asked for X plan pricing on a 24 Badlands in stock. They had no problem giving that to me. Unfortunately, I did not qualify because Ford Stock holders were no longer included in the X plan. So, I started searching online and found an identical Bronco at another dealer for...
  10. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

I understand what you are saying and agree with it. However, with the HD springs the perch may not be able to adjusted to stay within my desire height without the load. As I have indicated before, the lift ride height adjustment of the two springs are the same but the HD springs are measured...
  11. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

That is good information for me on the weight vs stance. I am thinking the same thing about the adjustability with the standard springs. They seem to be able to keep me in the height I want loaded or unloaded
  12. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

Yes, the amount of lift is the same between the two springs. The difference is the HD spring lift height is measured with 500 lbs additional over the rear axle and 150 lbs additional over the front axle. If you take that load off, the vehicle will sit higher. I may not want it to sit that...
  13. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

I also understand from the Eibach website that the Pro-Truck Coil Over 2.0 is adjustable front and rear. Under features it does state it has " Front Adjustable Threaded Spring Perch " without mentioning the rear. However, In the installation instructions it shows both front and rear with...
  14. Eibach coil over suspension advice needed for my application

I have looked through many threads and have not found a good answer to my specific needs. I have a 24 Badlands non-SAS. My off-roading varies from light to more than moderate but not extreme (moderate rock crawling is usually needed in some parts of the trips). I spend up to 4 weeks in...
  15. Back sagging under weight also lifting top

I have considered many ideas including most that have been mentioned in this thread. Right now I am leaning heavily toward Eibach coil over suspension because they are adjustable without having to take them apart. Are the Old Man Emu shocks adjustable like the Eibachs? I have heard good...
  16. Bypass micron filter install?

I will look into that. Some pictures would be helpful. I would like to install the bypass filter when I do my first oil change. I have less than 1,000 miles on it now so I have plenty of time to prepare for it. I have found the oil pressure sensor and that looks viable as a source of oil...
  17. Where to buy extended warranty in CALIFORNIA

I understand that, but when I was looking at extended warranties, it seemed like there were some things that didn't have the same coverage as the original warranty.
  18. Where to buy extended warranty in CALIFORNIA

This may be a little off topic, but does the extended warranty replace the original manufacturer's warranty? If so, I am thinkin it is better to wait until the original warranty is getting close to expiring before purchasing the extended warranty. If that is not a good idea, please explain why.
  19. High Altitude gas in 2.7l

I have no experience with turbos in high altitude yet but I have used 85 octane in my 4.0 SOHC N/A engine many times with no problem. Amazingly on Interstates it gets better mpg when I do that. I don't understand why but just consider it has less HP and somehow results in better mpg. That is...
