Could you share how you were successful. I submitted my reimbursement and they denied stating suspension and shock receipts were not related to the recall. I did mine in 2024 when I noticed my shocks were rusting and replaced them with old man emu.
I have done it and works well . The only thing is that you may have to remove the center bolt because otherwise it is hard to close. But it is stable and relatively easy to open and close. There maybe some rubbing on the window gaskets though that you have to watch out for
Yeah it doesn’t seem like they are doing that. I gave the dealer the receipt of the shocks I put in and they said they will submit it to see if I will get reimbursed.
I don’t think it is going to help unless you have the letter that says the repair is ready and to go to your dealer. With that letter the dealer can initiate the reimbursement if you have installed new shocks. They also need to inspect the vehicle.
I was told once we have the letter that the repair is ready which will be sometime towards the end of September. Different from the current letter we have received. I am supposed to take the new letter and my receipt of the repair to the dealer. The dealer inspects the vehicle and initiates...
I called the ford number and they said they will only do the reimbursement once the official letter is released on the recall. On the ford app and according to ford the recall is still incomplete.
I understand the driveshaft rusts on the bronco, mine are pretty rusty . Wondering if painting with a rust inhibitor will make it unbalanced . Or should I just ignore it
I had the same issue on my cactus grey I bathed it in 3 bottles of iron x and eventually it came out. But you will have to do it a few items especially if you have had the car for some time and it was not detailed by the dealer at initial purchase.
Are there any other videos out there on the transmission fluid change specific for the bronco other than the ford 10r80 ten speed transmission video. Thanks
I put 35 on my badlands, trying to figure out if I need to use forscan or something else to calibrate the speed. I feel my transmission not shifting the same way. Can I go to the dealer for them to recalibrate to 35, had 33’s.
One another question, I don’t need to get a gasket and o ring when I change the transmission filter because it is reusable right . Using a PPE transmission pan as well. Thanks
