I just bought a set of Bilstein 6112 coil-overs for my 2 door Badlands. My Bronco exhibits a stiff, choppy ride on rough city streets. Based on my research the 6112 should provide a much nicer ride without the chop. Installation happens in a few weeks... i'll report back.
2 Door Badlands owner here. The lousy city streets are making for a bouncy, annoying ride. I spoke with the folks at Tire Rack and they said the culprit was the KO2 tires due to their reenforced sidewalls. Anyone swapped out their factory KO2 tires for something else?
I live in the oldest neighborhood in Seattle. Our 100 year old roads are of a panel type with joints every 20 feet. The ride is be a bit jarring, so I’m hoping the lower tire pressure will take the edge off.
