I sure hope the aftermarket comes up with some kind of color matched filler panel that will allow the removal of those "trail sights" or whatever they are called on the front fenders. I have never liked the looks of those since day 1.
Same discussions on the Jeep forums. I am sure the aftermarket will address it at some point by making a plate that bolts where the spare tire bracket mounts. Likely you can take the wires and pull them back inside the tailgate where they can be retrieved later. It's not my thing but that's the...
You did see the photos of the Bronco with a 2 inch lift and 37's didnt you? I wouldn't call that major work.
Also running 37's on a Rubicon without upgraded axles and trusses is a break waiting to happen. It will be interesting to see if this will be an issue with the Bronco.
Wow, those are mostly pretty weak talking points for Jeep being better. I had a pretty mod heavy Jeep and while it was fun the soon as a Ford offering was available I was ready to take the leap. Ford vs FCA quality? Not even in the same class for comparison. All I got out of that article is that...
If people are going to cancel just because the concept vehicles in some way misled them then cancel away, I will just get mine quicker. ;)
Mine will have 37's regardless of the fact that it may or may not be a factory option. I was glad to see that they appear to fit with a 2 inch lift which...
I am surprised the designers didn't pick up a styling que from the slant glass on the rear roof section. That would have been a cool but subtle bridge between Bronco generations.
The biggest reason I wouldn't even consider leasing a Bronco is that I fully intend on doing a lot of upgrades and customizing like I did on my Jeep and that is not something that makes sense with a lease.
Sold my Jeep in anticipation of Bronco release and before the market gets flooded with used Jeeps. That money is sitting in the bank earmarked for the Bronco. Will put at least 50% down, maybe more depending on how long it takes to acquire. Already started a $500 per month "car payment" adding...
I have no issues with the EB motors and have put enough miles on multiple ones to say the fit my needs very well. The new ten speed transmission in my 2020 F150 is another thing entirely, especially until it warms up. Lagging 1-2 shifts, feels like it is slipping, erratic and rough shifts until...
I would be way more concerned about the ten speed transmission performance than the 2.7 torque band. My 2020 F150 with the 2.7 EB has a low RPM torque availability that works great in the application which is similar to the way most would use the Bronco off road. The transmission...I am much...
My question would be why do people have this need for a 5.0 motor in it? I wouldn't offer it either. Raptors, GT40's, many of Fords performance vehicles are using eco-boosts with great success. Look at the data objectively and you will see that having a V8 doesn't enhance performance anymore...
When I reluctantly sold my last new to me 96 Bronco in 2001 there was no vehicle out there that I really wanted. I tried an Expedition (think soccer mom) and hated it and finally settled on 4 door F150's that I have replaced every three years with the next model since 2001. I love them and they...
Two hours of trying, have had a Ford Owners account for 10 years, could never get past the log in screen, crashed over and over. Finally get thru that and it says all reservations are full. THAT Sucks!
UPDATE: Got on no problem at 06:00 EST and got my 4dr Badlands reserved. :)
South Bend Indiana.
Sold my heavily modded Jeep JKU, waiting for the Bronco to be order-able.
EDIT* Put down my $100 reservation to Ford towards a 4dr Badlands!
I have had either a 3.5 EB or a 2.7 EB in my last 5 F150's and had ZERO issues. My 2019 F150 has the 2.7 and it has plenty of torque and acceleration at tow loads under 7500 pounds. I would gladly take a 2.7 EB in my new Bronco!
