Did anyone with the AB transmission replacement, who had the noise returned contact Ford, and what was the response from Ford ?

Same here, in addition, I have an oil leak from the front engine gasket.

I got my transmission changed with the E-version a few months back, it was completely noiseless until now, yesterday i started hearing the grinding noise again.

The grinding noise is back . My third transmission, the last one replaced a few months ago, with the E-version. It has been more than 2 years since this issue was reported to Ford Motors and there is no real fix. This is extremely disappointing.

I got my transmission replaced about three months ago with the E-version. There were several days in NY when temp. dropped below 40, and I did not hear any noise.

UPDATE: I had my transmission replaced with the E-version a few months back and so far it has been quiet and shifts very smoothly. The weather in NY is below 40 degrees, and there is no noise whatsoever..

I got my transmission replaced (E version) about two weeks ago, so far no noise, and smooth shifting. Hopefully it stays this way..

Do you know which version of the transmission your dealer installed?

Many of us have replaced the transmission multiple times and still have the same, noise issue. Based on this fact, I think all Broncos with manual transmissions, without exception have the same problem

So I am assuming they revised synchro -D as it might not be working properly neither, otherwise Ford would continue using this version and not make another version, now C..

I reported my problem with the transmission in December of 2021. It has been sixteen months now and still no real fix from Ford. Trying to justify Ford Motor’s failures is Completely unreasonable..

Many individuals have stated that their manual Broncos only make the noise in cold weather. Mine keeps me entertained even when the weather is warm, like 80 degrees. I guess I am the only lucky one LOL

Has anyone received the updated -E transmission yet?

On the same boat here.. I waited more than 2 years, and paid $57K to get my 'headache".

In my Bronco, the noise is present even in Summer time : I could hear it especially in low RPM.
