Excellent glad you approve! I think a lot of us here are a bit more old school (I’m pushing 50) and don’t need too many gadgets/tech in our cars. We get enough of that at work (I’m in IT) and such.
Ok....so I just finished with an online chat with Ford - lady was really nice. She says my current version on my Bronco is 4.0.22291, which jives with my initial screenshot. I turned off auto updates and wifi is off. Apparently with the newer versions, you can read the software version on...
Thanks - but I already tried that. When I go to that menu, it just says "software is up to date". So at this point I would guess that I have the latest one as it says.....it's just annoying that I can't see the number anywhere. On an iPhone, if your iOS is up to date, it says that, but it...
Ok so, for context, what’s “915” in relation to the numbers in my screenshot? None of the numbers in my picture make any sense to me in relation to any version.
Posted this in a separate thread but I think it's buried in there and not totally related to the OP's topic....so starting this one because I would like some help please:
See screenshot… software version doesn’t jive with anything I’ve seen recently about version 4.2.2 vs. 4.3 etc.

So, I tried it out....and, confirmed, no 4A, which is pretty much what I thought, as I don't have a manual button for it. "Slippery" went straight to 4H. All good.
Sidenote: If you go into "Sport", it disables the start/stop switch instead of manually engaging it all the time. I hadn't...
Ok now I’m confused. See screenshot… software version doesn’t jive with anything I’ve seen here. Also:
1. Auto updates was ON. I turned it off.
2. It told me that “software is up to date”
3. So far no glitching.
So…. Which version do I have? I didn’t see any other logical menu that would...
Gotcha ok. And yes - I love the BD all around. The only possible negative is the lack of push button 4A on the non-advanced, which is what I have. But even I am caring less and less about that.
