I am still working mine. All hoses and cables will run through the top. The cover I made will have fabric over the holes the keep stuff out of the box. I don’t think heat will be an issue as I don’t think I’ll run the compressor long enough to matter. We will see.

My K03’s have worked well for me. Low noise and no traction issues in heavy rain and snow. Almost 50k miles with about another 10k left.

Well I just had to look……. I cut mine a little less than 1/2” and then bent the tab. I does recline more than before, whether it makes a difference to passengers (except my dog) I will find out later. BTW, I did all four tabs.
