Not a constraint but I’ve been told it gets flagged during 3/27 orders and states “late availability” so I guess something to keep off or risk not getting scheduled. However, I’ve see a lot of broncos scheduled this week with Tow. I don’t understand how FMC can make a SUV like a bronco and have...
Agreed. OBX gives you some internal tech but from what I hear, LUX and high aren’t even worth it. Want to burn your phone up? Want still shitty speakers? Also, I don’t want cloth seats. MGV is great and rubberized washout floor. Agreed, just go to BL. I’m telling you, BD is underated and I love...
Does anyone know what is considered a big dealer vs small dealer in terms of allocations? Just trying to get an idea if like 20 allocations is a small or medium sized dealer…
I think he mispoke. He didn’t mean that they can only produce 10%. What he meant is that the demand is very low for BDs (Less than 10%) so FMC has easily been able to meet the low demand
I did see that dealers are saying that Tow is getting flagged during open order period. Weird that this wasnt included in Fords list of most recent constraints dealers got. Why would they wait for order banks to open for them to find out? Also is there a difference between a flag and a constraint?
When you say not get built, you don’t mean any of the dealers orders right? Will FMC completely pass over all orders of a dealer that exceeded their allocation numbers? Or do you mean that the dealer can exceed the allocations with orders but it just makes it less likely that a customer will get...
Good luck brother! I believe BDs are one of the least ordered builds which should mean they don’t exceed Fords capacity to build them. They also aren’t much different than some of the other builds but seems many drift to Badlands or OBX
What does allocation really mean? Does this mean the dealerships with the most allocations get broncos scheduled first? Does the biggest dealer get priority? Or does this mean the dealers that meet their allocations with the right number of orders without having excess orders, have the best...
So I’ve been under the impression that my build for Monday’s open order bank is pretty solid give it has not major constraints (Black Diamond, 4 door, soft top, mid and no SAS). But I just saw a video from Long MacArthur on YouTube and he said even though it hasn’t been published, his dealership...
This is the same thing I’m wondering…will any March 27 orders get scheduled this spring and be delivered by summer (especially if with no constraints) or are they all going to be at least a 8 month to year wait because old orders are still backlogged and prioritized?
Makes a lot of sense. Thanks for that info. I may end up taking off some of those options you mentioned because they aren't show stoppers and can be added later on a timeline I choose.
Thanks for all of this extremely valuable information you included in this thread. Everything makes sense. Of course allocations and constraints may be updated by March 27th and along the way for the MY23 Broncos, but is my current build (see below) a build that has little to no constraints...
