I’ve seen a few on OfferUp that clearly an employee took and went to sell. You can tell because all the windows are removed and no good enough pictures to see any cracks. That cant be legal.

I don’t think they are separating more than what is shown in the picture I’m attaching here, but this was large/separated enough for water to intrude where I later saw it seeping out via a couple water droplets.

Ford has solved the issue……with the new painted tops. It’s a different construction type and finish. However, they continue to sell the unsolved junk MIC tops too.

Up to you, but unfortunately that’s pretty “normal”. I’ve seen the same slight bubbling/delam in this exact same spot on multiple tops of mine and others have reported the same.

100% agree. After a few months of use, the plastic connectors/tabs become very brittle and just break off instead of coming “unclipped” like they should if/when you need to disconnect. Then you’re screwed once the release tab is broken off and you have to redo the entire connector. I can’t be...

Just washed my Bronco today and did my usual inspection. Found a crack at the passenger side rear window hinge. This is my 4th top and this one went strong for about 2 years before getting this crack. I’ve been out of warranty for a year, so I’m stuck. They will all crack at some point.

^^^This! They all have cracks, bubbling, or snakeskin. Some can only be seen in certain lighting, at the right angle, or with a bright flashlight. I’m on my 4th top.

The Raptor hard tops are the same as the 4-door non-Raptor hardtops. That widens your search some, but it’s still a needle in a haystack.
