  1. Wiring help please! Rodents got me.

I've had better luck after putting out poison bait stations and electronic repellants under the hoods. The repellants work really well for a while, but it seems like they get accustomed to it. I mostly have issues now when the bait stations run out. In the spring and fall especially, they can...
  2. Wind noise on passenger side of NEW 2024 wildtrak 2 door hard top

No, it's poor engineering or poor implementation. I have not had these issues with any other vehicle. It's a really poor reflection on Ford. I expect this will ultimately end up in a recall of some sort. These tops have been a shit show from the very beginning.
  3. MIC Hard Top Wind Noise Reduction - 2023 Edition - Plus Bonus Fix for Bad Adhesive

I have to agree. After a LONG road trip this last week, I am not happy. The dealership already looked and found no issues. Mine is so bad that I can see daylight from the inside. I put some weatherstrip on it for a quick temp fix and it really just whistled from other areas. I have 2 Jeeps...
  4. These roof panels are garbage and Ford should be ashamed of themselves.

No, I mean they leak, just not nearly as bad, are quieter, and don't whistle. Not yeah, they all leak lol.
  5. These roof panels are garbage and Ford should be ashamed of themselves.

I issues with my top too. Have not had the same issues with Jeeps.
  6. New Product Release: Mabett Tailgate Air Compressor

You aren't going to make that better than an ARB period. That compressor will be junk.
  7. D/E - Class rated tire pressure

Here is one. You need to know the OEM tires and pressure from the door sticker to get you close. Manufacturers sometimes also will list comparable pressures. I got my info from Mickey Thompson's site somewhere when I set mine. https://tiresize.com/pressure-calculator/
  8. D/E - Class rated tire pressure

On my Jeep, I run 37s at 26 cold. There are calculators available online that will give you the pressure you should run on larger tires compared to stock.
  9. We BURNED OUR RIG DOWN! (Jk. But could have been bad). Fire extinguisher saves the day.

I'm not sure that's right. It looks like a loose connection. Not sure if it was the terminal or crimp or what. I didn't completely follow how the wires terminated. I like to crimp and solder terminals. I don't like screw terminals for wires that big on cars personally. A loose connection...
  10. Any news on the floppy window engineering fix?

Good post. Will be doing this tonight. I'll bet it helps with the occasional water I get in when hard rain hits just right.
  11. Any news on the floppy window engineering fix?

I absolutely hate that. There are lots of times I want the fronts down a bit on the highway and I am afraid it will flex enough to break.
  12. DV8 Accessory Mount and Spare Tire Guard

Good view in that pic. Bet that was some pucker!
  13. DV8 Accessory Mount and Spare Tire Guard

At least the recovery points sound well mounted. I don't think I would buy one after hearing about that mount up, but I am already out after my experience anyway. I'm sure you could fab in some more mounting, but I don't like having to do that on brand new parts.
  14. DV8 Accessory Mount and Spare Tire Guard

Yikes. Does it include a winch plate?
  15. DV8 Accessory Mount and Spare Tire Guard

Yeah, not excited to pull it all apart and grind off the paint to weld it back. I really like the design. I was hard to find one that sits low enough that my spare was below the cab and not catching wind. I may reinforce the mounting points while it's off to be safe. Are you saying the...
  16. DV8 Accessory Mount and Spare Tire Guard

I have found the opposite. I got the bed rack for my JT. First, they are not made in the US and it shows. The packing was actually pretty decent, but it still was not enough and there was finish damage in shipping that I had to repaint. I wouldn't care on sliders or something, but the bed...
  17. 315's or 35's, C or E load rating???

I use D or E ply on my offroad vehicles for the puncture resistance.
  18. Base Bronco VS. Base Jeep JT/JL comparison

I agree that Bronco is objectively better on road. It is also more comfortable on long rides. I do think the Jeep is better off road. That's the trade off with SFA vs IFS.
  19. 2.3l with low boost and stumbles off the line

The boost also feels VERY non-linear. A tune should be able to smooth that power curve out a lot. I want one.
