Haha, I hear you. My profile picture is my Dad in front of his Bronco back in the early 70's in Colorado. My original order was a 2 door, but that didn't make it out of committee, so I am happy getting the family wagon. haha
I agree... but times they are a changing! I personally only wanted a 2 door. I think the 2 door looks the best, but starting a young family I had to compromise and get the 4 door. Keeping the wife happy and getting a new bronco works out for me!
Fellow Okies, I took a good look around but had to join the Texas buyers club with their Bob Utter Ford offer. I moved my reservation yesterday. I don't think we will be able to beat that price in Oklahoma. I really wanted to find and Oklahoma dealer with any type of discount but had no success.
That's a nice collection of great automobiles! I agree with you on engine choices for the Bronco, but I think the 2.7 will be a good one. I have a Willys MB with a Isuzu diesel engine in it. I think it has around 70 hp. So my mountain jeeping just got a serious upgrade! haha
I moved my reservation today! It was easy to do. Thanks for all your help on this. I will be coming down from Tulsa to Texas to get my Bronco. Thanks Again!
That's interesting. I never really counted on the X Plan. We have a few dealers that are offering prices in the X plan range (I think). I just switched from a dealer that wouldn't guarantee me MSRP to Bob Utter Ford in Texas that has a great offer of 1K below dealer invoice. I love the Ford...
Looking at Ford stock price and knowing the company needs a winner with the Bronco I can't image why they would discount a popular product that is already basically sold out. Especially when we are pre-ordering it. If I was selling hot cakes and I had a line out the door I would not discount...
I think I’m going to Texas for mine too. I spoke with Bill Knight Ford here in Tulsa and they won’t match the Texas offer. The best they will do is MSRP. I would love to find an OK dealer that would give us some competitive pricing so we can add on an extra option or two.
I wish! Unfortunately this is a mass produced form letter that the dealer uses with whatever data they have on you. I get these all the time saying "We desperately need your 2013 F150 due to heavy used truck demand". They don't need my truck, they just want me to buy something new. In the...
