Yes but that California warning tag is on almost everything I buy. So far it hasn't affected me. 😆

The only issue there is you're dependent on a cell signal. Sometimes when we're hiking there's no signal or a very weak so the keypad comes in handy there.

It might fit removing the black outer cover. I'd be very curious to see if this "master code" works as no one has been able to get theirs to program on a Ranger. Even Phil who is a retired Ford employee said there's no way to do this without having the dealer install it. His is now a paperweight...

For when you're hiking or boating or doing something where you don't want your key in your pocket. Just lock them inside and go and yes it does work with them locked inside. Also comes in handy if your parked far from your house and you want to get inside and your keys are inside.

Seems like the average on the Ranger forum is another $100 for programing them. There's no way to do it through Forscan either as many have tried.

Assuming it's like the Ranger ones they're both stick on and battery powered.

If you add it from the factory it comes preprogramed. If ordered after you have to pay the dealer to program it. You're better off getting it from the factory and moving it to another area. Dental floss or fishing line and they come right off.

Anything is possible but he was looking at 10 years from now. By then there will be a lot more EV/Phev vehicles out and Ford is committing billions into this now. I just don't see them carrying 7 different Bronco models for much longer.

Not trying to discourage you but I would bet within the next few years the Base will be discontinued. It's kind of a "lost leader" model so they can say you can buy a Bronco for under $30K. Great promo now to get more Broncos out on the streets for everyone to see. I can see the Big Bend...

2019 Ranger Lariat

It's super easy (2-3 minutes) to flash back to the stock tune. Then flash back once you're done.

Usually this can only be done through Forscan or if you have a tune the tuner box will let you recalibrate for larger tires. I have a Livernois tune and did it there and it also lets you recalibrate for gearing too.

We were there the week of July 4th 2019 and rented a side x side. There was still 12' snowbanks in some areas and half of the Alpine Loop trail was closed from avalanches but we still had a good time. This will be one of our stops on the way back home from Granger.

It's a lot easier but still can be done on an older one too. The key is doing it when it's warm outside, doing it slowly and having the area warm too. There have been several on the Ranger forum who removed their Fx4 emblems months after receiving theirs without any issues. I'll see if I can...
