After almost 6 months of waiting, I’ve been in my Bronco for 3 days now and I just wanted to provide a quick initial review after putting several hundred miles on the car, share plans for the future, and a few pictures. Ordered in late January, received on 07/11/25. 2025 Ruby Red Heritage...
Just got the text from the dealership. Picking mine up tomorrow after work. Order date was 01/22/25. It was supposed to be built in late May but kept sitting there in production for ~1 month. Be prepared to wait. Shipping was reasonably quick once built.
Hang in there everyone!
Lots of dry rot for sure and I don't love the look of that ring. I'd feel OK driving them around town in an emergency situation or under 40 mph maybe. I wouldn't recommend you drive on the highway or in any sort of weather.
Agreed with the group here, it's a safety issue for sure but low speed...
I say toss the pads and get new ones. Pad slapping sometimes works. OR grease the backs of pads and see if that helps. You'd be surprised what all a bit of grease can cure on brakes
Atta boy!!!! Manuals are starting to be delivered as of this week is what I'm hearing. Stay strong. I've been waiting since January and my build week is coming up in a week and a half.
All that time gives you plenty of time to research and purchase parts as they go on sale!
What color...
I ordered my 2025 Heritage manual on January 23 this year and it's scheduled for a May 26 build date. I would expect a similar timeline IF they are building manuals late in the year.
I hear only 3% are manual this year.
Good luck to you!
Does it squeak when you go over bumps and you aren't on the brakes? Or is it ONLY under braking?
I've experienced squeaky brakes on new suvs before. One time, I greased the back of the pads and it went away. The other time (old JK jeep) the pads were just garbage from the factory so I swapped...
Your clearly know your stuff. Good commentary about manuals!
I'm a die hard manual driver myself. It's just more fun for me and I like banging gears. I've been driving manuals since 1999. I learned to drive on an 83' Datsun pickup in a Big Lots parking lot while my dad shouted at me to quit...
Got a text from Ford this morning! Manual scheduled!
"Ford Update: We expect to begin building your Bronco the week of May 26, 2025. We'll update you if that changes."
Difficult to say. Plenty of new "nice to have" stuff, but not HUGE leaps forward.
New engine means you're either potentially upgrading to a better version in some way, otherwise Ford wouldn't have changed it. So that could be a bonus. However, with any redesign or new thing you're also the...
I would assume Ford probably did not want to mess with redesigning another version of the center console since such a small percentage of us are manual transmission buyers.
Less R&D cost to just update one console.
I ordered a 2025 Ruby Red Metallic Heritage with a 2.3 and 7 speed manual on January 23.
I've received a txt/email from Ford on March 8th saying they're still working on a scheduled build date.
This is my first post (been lurking for a while) and I'm a current Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 6 speed...
