The glass repair would not concern me as it was probably a rock chip. It seems one of my cars needs a new windshield every year.
What is the MSRP for the vehicle?
When I configured an order in May, the dealer told me to expect 12-16 weeks (and I figured he was underestimating* so expected longer). Given your order day of 3/26, end of July is within that window so it seems reasonable from what I was told.
I ended up buying off the lot instead (paid less...
True for current-gen Tundra engines. My three older Toyotas (2001 Tundra, 2004 Siena, 2020 Tundra V8) have been nearly bulletproof. My friends' older 4Runners have been great. No vehicles are perfect forever.
My only other new Ford, a 2017 Shelby GT350, has been great aside from some...
I am all for not overspending, but adding some of these options is a small expense relative to the total cost of the vehicle. Adding them later becomes more expensive or difficult without trading vehicles, which is more expensive.
Looking back at my vehicle purchases and even houses, 100% of...
What I mean is that the Bronco is not a performer on the road, so adding a MT is not so critical. My wife, for instance has no interest in a MT in her daily-driver Honda SUV (which has nice paddle shifters and is surprisingly quick but it's still a big SUV), but does have a MT in her sporty...
I came close to buying a Bronco off the lot (a special-order Badlands that the orderer backed out of). The price was good (not amazing considering it was a unique and expensive build) but they lowballed my trade offer ($4-12k less than five other dealers). I expected better since the Bronco was...
I do tow but mostly a small 14' aluminum fishing boat that weighs little. Also a large pontoon boat occasionally and only a few miles from my cabin to a storage facility for winter.
I would add the Ford pro tune to the 2.3. Would consider it for the 2.7.but the gain is not that great for the $, so not sure. Am interested in feedback from anyone who has done the Ford tune on the 2.7. I have read lots of good feedback on the 2.3 tune.
I do wrench on all my vehicles, so this is important.
Would love to hear more on reliability of 2.7L vs. 2.3L. I thought the second-gen 2.7L is better/good but maybe not?
