  1. UAW goes on strike @ MAP Bronco / Ranger factory [ADMIN WARNING: NO INSULTS, NO POLITICS]

I think they've been a victim of their own success. They got to a place of comfort and sat on their laurels for a while, while big corporations have spent a lot of time and money making them look evil. Then, now that things have gotten hard and the middle class is atrophying, they have to do...
  2. UAW goes on strike @ MAP Bronco / Ranger factory [ADMIN WARNING: NO INSULTS, NO POLITICS]

Yeah, agreed. Lots of folks railing against the evils of unions, although for me the most galling is the weird generational infighting.
  3. Ripple effect.. solidarity amongst unions

That would be a point of negotiation, surely. Given that employers are required to pay into unemployment, they'd never leave that sort of thing out. And, more importantly, *these* workers will never have to worry about such a complication, as they are not working in California. So the point is...
  4. Ripple effect.. solidarity amongst unions

California has a social safety net, which I hardly consider fucked up. But, with that said, our maximum weekly unemployment payment is $450.
  5. Order date vs build date

Ordered March 27, delivered July 1. Badlands 2-door 2.3L auto non-SAS mid package w/ the standard bumper and the tow package.
  6. AR | BRONCO CLASSIC DNA Fender Badge

It’s back! At least, some of them are. Looks like base, WT, OBX, and BL ones. Move quick!
  7. Ford Performance Calibration Tuner for MY2022, 2023 Bronco is CARB approved as of 8/16/23

Whereabouts in Walnut Creek? I'm out in the Sac area, but I've been striking out locally and I regularly drive into the Bay to visit my parents.
  8. AR | BRONCO CLASSIC DNA Fender Badge

Looking forward to the glorious day in distant future when orders reopen for these. My new 2-door Badlands is crying out for them!
  9. Bold Performance Axle-Back Exhausts for Ford Bronco (Toms Offroad Installation)

Hey man whatever floats your boat. I'll take an engine that sounds like Gilbert Gottfried if it's got power and easy maintenance.
  10. Bold Performance Axle-Back Exhausts for Ford Bronco (Toms Offroad Installation)

Part of the reason I bought a Bronco was because it seemed like my Forester needed the whole dang engine lifted out anytime you needed to do service on it. Flat-4 is cool and all but it means more work/costs when it needs fixing or maintenance. Between that and the CVT, I wasn't interested in...
  11. Bronco Wildland Firefighting Rig Debut

My guess would be right around here: https://goo.gl/maps/xZTpnzqo4vkgUdPM7 The mountains in the background line up mostly, and the foreground appears to be rocky enough to be in one of the two creekbeds that trail crosses. It's not technically in the Bandelier park, but it's very close by.
  12. Rockford Fosgate Components and DIY Speaker Pods

You'll have to let us know what you ended up doing to address that vibration issue-honestly, that's the only thing preventing me from doing this for my own car!
