Let's all agree...Dealers don't know jack. Seriously. They wouldn't know when order banks will open anymore than you and I would. They'll tell you "opening before Christmas"...but in reality it's "hope they will open"...no one really knows. If Ford's goal is to clear backlog...then February...
If it was only one thing - wouldn't it be nice? lol.
Last year (MY22) all I heard was MIC, Tow, SAS are all major constraints and to get rid of them - and I believed that 100%. This year (MY23) I've seen build after build get scheduled with MIC, Tow and SAS and more. I left my original order...
Not that I saw. Lots of 1/23 week scheduling last Thursday. I'm at 12 months now...still "unscheduled-clean". Lol.
Good luck. Sounds like you should get a build date soon!
Wait...a Dealer "Full of S!ht"???? Say it ain't so!!! lol.
I had to walk my dealer through the re-order process back in September. I called and said I needed to convert my MY22 to a MY23 order and was told it was done auto-magically by Ford and there was nothing to do. I had to explain the...
Yes...but there wasn't really order banks opened. All orders converted from MY22 to MY23 back in August I believe - BUT - everything was set to a "99" priority code. 11/21/2022 was the "drop-dead" date to have your order re-confirmed and your priority code switched from 99 to whatever it was...
Yeah...that specific message about Q2 2023 is about the Heritage Editions - not the general Bronco Order Banks.
The Ford website was updated recently however and basically it says "You ain't ordering a 2023". lol
" Due to high demand, the current model year is no longer available for retail...
" And the head of Bronco at Ford saw the posts here and laughed, said it is all speculation. "
And that must matter because the head of Bronco at Ford has really been on top of the rollout, right???:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Big Bend doesn't mean faster - nor does base from what I have read. The key to all of this I believe is the dreaded "Dealer Allocation" and any "Constraints".
Big bend ordered 12/13/21 - walk in order - been almost a year now and still waiting. Hoping that after 11/21 (today) there's a better...
I was hesitant to modify my order as well...but the dealer assured me it has no impact on my place "in line". Since I'm still waiting I decided to go ahead and add SAS. I didn't on the original order as I was trying to keep the MSRP under a certain threshold. But now that I have no truck payment...
Walk in order 12/13/2021...MY22 converted to MY23 on 9/23/2022. Still waiting. I feel fir those who ordered 2020 and are still waiting. I hate those who ordered 2022 and have build dates!!! (Just kidding...happy for everyone who got a date. It's Ford I hate. Lol)
That's where I'm curious what happened. The original scheduling dates I saw had the Broncos being built the weeks of 12/5; 12/12; and 12/19. Factory line 12/26 closed. Then I saw another that listed a single 12/5 week for Broncos. All schedules I saw last week were for 12/5 only.
Did they...
So I've seen 2 scheduling lists...one had weeks of 12/5; 12/12; and 12/19...the other listed only week of 12/5. All the scheduling last week looked like 12/5. Anyone know if scheduling for 12/12 is planned for this week??
There appears to be little - if any - logical processing of orders. Reservations from 2020 and 2021 getting done? Makes sense...happy for those people. Orders placed in 2022 getting build dates now? Pisses me off. I'm a late 2021 order...basic build, tow being maybe a constraint earlier...but...
