I don't believe there are any hotels close to the off-roadeo location. You would have to drive there regardless of where you choose to stay EDIT: This comment was specific to the Nevada location at Mt. Potosi

At the Nevada location, we did also shift to M1 on the way down to save wear on brakes.

^^ This^^ I was in the first group at the Nevada Off Roadeo location and the team was drilling this into us there as well. Just as a good practice to have for “mechanical sympathy” and to have your rig in good working order for the long term I have to say, i was blown away by the entire course...

I registered for Aug 16 at the Vegas location. If you follow the link, it does say SOLD out, but i just called directly and reserved. They said they had plenty of rooms available. Also, i think someone else mentioned in this thread, but i dont think clicking on the link gets you the discount...

Great write up! Thanks for the details and the comparison between the engines and transmission is helpful! I have a 7MT 4dr Badlands on order and while i cant imagine driving anything but a manual transmission, i have this nagging feeling of maybe missing out on some of the additional driving...

Thanks for the report! Did you happen to have any conversations or gain any insight into how some of the folks that have worked on the bronco are spec’ing their models out? Which trims they are going for etc? I am just curious to understand what aspects and trims spoke to each of them and why.

Specific to the MIC tops, its not that they are not available till 2022. There is just a smaller quantity available for 2021 which might end up pushing a lot of builds with MIC tops to 2022. The MOD tops are a different story..

Currently with Frontier Ford since that was the option that showed up when I was reserving. Have heard mixed feedback and they haven't responded to any of my emails asking about ADM etc
