It is pretty high ranking in the Mustang.
Neither the 2.3 or 2.7 is top dog in either the Mustang or the F-150...
I would rather have a pushrod V8 like the 7.3 or the rumored 6.7 though, the Coyote is freaking huge and it would be a PITA to work on shoehorned into a Bronco. The 6.7 is still...
Not much more at all.
My wife's 2.3 Black Diamond already costs about the same as my dream F-250. XL, FX4, Supercrew with a fair number of options and it would have a Godzilla (and could actually use it with good towing/payload ratings)
Bronco is priced pretty high IMO as it is.
My dumb ol' V8's will NEVER eat a turbo.
My dumb ol' steering wheel mower will NEVER eat a drive motor (the zero turn at work is really weak on one side and wants to just go in circles)
I would like a baby zilla in my Warthog please.
The last time I bought a truck (in 2005 lol) I went to a dealer kinda lateish hoping they would be closed so I could browse in peace. Heck no, a "helpful" salesman jumped on me. Told him what I was looking for, extended cab, 4x4 with the bigger V8.
We walk across the lot into the next county...
On the other side of the coin if Ford made a fixed hardtop version with a real headliner I would be all over it.
I tried to sell her on a 4Runner... no dice.
Redoing the floor pan was very enlightening on my Ranger.
There is the outside fender you can see that is painted all pretty, the inner fender which is basically the real outside skin of the cab and the kick panel on the inside of the cab. The two parts of the of the cab structure are tied...
The crash bar is there to stop the tire from entering the passenger compartment, not to force the wheels to sit farther outside. If they are going to do that they might as well forget them altogether.
If the Sasquatch ones are even different. That front one can't go much farther ahead and moving the rear one back will change how it keeps the tire out of the passenger compartment.
Rangers have them bolted in.
I have no experience with them but it would probably be similar to an old T-top car with the t-tops out.
Generally if air can't get out it really slows down how much it goes in. It is a whole different world with just a side window open in my truck than it is with a side window down and a back...
Its a convoluted mess.
LT can be C thru E, maybe heavier but most pickups don't run heavier than E. Mine are C. And they have some weird number thing too, I think mine are like 120 but two months later I am not 100% positive. Plies don't really mean much anymore.
I wish they could just pick...
