  1. Sunshade that is not a PITA to keep under hard top

I have a Jtops, and unfortunately the extra layer on a 4 door center panel bracket caused me some issues and bit of a gap in weather stripping sealing along the sides of the vehicle / center rise between back of front panels and front of rear panel. I have attempted to adjust the top many times...
  2. Corsa vs Borla Catback Turn Down Exhaust

I personally do not find it too loud, but every vehicle I have ever owned had had a modified exhaust. I could see how it might seem loud to some, not to me, all personally subjective.
  3. Gazelle Ground Tent

Sure do, I have three. Absolutely love them but they are a bit bulky. I really love the RoverX, I also have the previous generation slightly smaller Mini III, and a larger Shiftpod III+ I use for 3-7 day camp locations such as music festivals (last pic is at Alabama Hills). The big one is big...
  4. Corsa vs Borla Catback Turn Down Exhaust

I have the Corsa and DV8 compartment, it works great together. Prior to getting the Corsa my DV8 compartment would get rather hot from stock muffler right below it. Their adhesive heat shield did not work well for me. Now, with Corsa it’s all titties! Also was nice to not have the stock...
  5. Gazelle Ground Tent

This topic has all the horses beaten to death, and back to life, and to death again. On almost every forum, social, YouTube, etc. you can always steer yourself to your desired answer down those rabbit holes. Do what makes sense for you, many times folks try something different and find it...
  6. Went with the polished look for wheels.

I’m rocking along with team polished!
  7. The best trim for a new buyer

One more thought, depending on where you live and plan to overland, the more trips you do the more confident / comfortable / adventurous you might get. And then, down the rabbit hole we go…it can get a little addicting. 🤷‍♂️ Pick a trim that works for your needs, or start simple and build up...
  8. You have $1-$2k to spend right now... what are you getting?

Depends a lot on what you do with it. If you hit off road action, a solid air compressor, consider a tire upgrade (might stretch the budget), lighting is great if you go to places and use it, love my hidden Midland radio, and also a rear cargo area shelf (many companies). A cargo area shelf is...
  9. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Last Anza Borrego camping trip for the season a couple weeks ago, and a couple days ago I installed Icon adjustable track bar and Rockjock track bar relocation kit. Track bar damn near level now. Completed an alignment today, everything came out titties!
  10. Corsa vs Borla Catback Turn Down Exhaust

Can’t speak for both, but overall very happy with the Corsa on my 2.7l It sounds pretty good, I think a bit better from the outside than inside but definitely agree there is no drone, to me at least. The AWE on my tuned Audi S5 sounds so damn good, Bronco cannot compare, but overall love the...
  11. Post your snow pics! ❄️ ❄️ ❄️

Snowboard trip to Mammoth Lakes, CA with another Bronco and a couple of friends. Cleaning that Sierra cement off was a chore for this SoCal self of mine. I forgot how the windows struggle to drop down after snow ices up around the molding, rear doors difficult to open as they hit ice and snow...
  12. 4WP Bronco Rear Bumper - Crazy Deal!

Sure, I need to get better ones in the day. I’m still running my mudflaps because I don’t like throwing crap all over the side of my vehicle and people behind me. I think the bumper is decent for the sale price, no regrets. May not blend as well into the rear flares but it’s a workhorse so all...
  13. 4WP Bronco Rear Bumper - Crazy Deal!

I I stalle I installed the bumper recently, but elected to go with a DV8 license plate relocation solution because I wanted easier access to my spare and preferred the look. Anywho, in my case only two wires needed, though I did replace the OEM light with the DV8 provided one.
  14. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Keeping this desert season going, another round of Anza Borrego fun.
  15. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

More Anza Borrego fun. It’s so cool to see how much the washes and landscape change after a good rain. Been meaning to camp for two weeks but the rain rain rain. Finally, we just went for it. Bronco was fun as always, and now properly dirty and muddy. My 14 year old daughter kicks me out of...
  16. floor jack recommendations

Another vote for the HF Badlands 3 ton. It’s been awesome and I have used it a whole bunch between working on my Bronco and buddies GX. I scored mine with a 20% off any item coupon a couple years ago. Zero regrets.
  17. another tire recommendation request

I ended up with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T. They ride quiet, are three peak rated, and great in the rocks. They are a bit heavy, otherwise very happy! Tires are very subjective to preference.
  18. Bilstein 8112s + 35s installed on my non-SAS Badlands

Shiftpod, been using these tents for 5-7 years now. Developed by some folks from Burning Man, but a cool story to read about how they have evolved. Do they stay cooler? No, not without a swamp cooler or A/C. There are provisions for that but not my scenario. Do they stay warmer in the cold...
  19. Bilstein 8112s + 35s installed on my non-SAS Badlands

It was arguably unnecessary, honestly I figured “while I was in there” to do it, also just in case I get a wild hair up my ass 2 years from now when the tires are shot and decide to go 37’s, so maybe “future proofing” but we will see. I went with 0 offset on the Methods, mixed feelings when...
