Another recall, this one is a DO NOT DRIVE. Sharing cause I know we have some wildtracks here. Wildtrack & raptor owners between certain dates from Michigan plant...
This was my reference....... Per dealer, per Ford!

I love the damn thing. Really missing it right now but ford needs to step up to the plate! If it took 1000 pages of raging for them to notice, I'm fine with that (I am one that is kinda raging at time) just to be zero explanation, resolution or updates from Ford's end? They deserve some angry...
That shouldn't be the option. You ordered a vehicle that is falling short of expectations. Most of us have a lot of time invested just waiting. They shouldnt lose their place in line or have to pass up their personally built bronco because Ford's putting garbage on the road right now?
Not confirmed, not saying that it's definitely heresay but couple people posted transmission are on back order and that a dealers said they've halted any TSBs to be performed that are currently waiting. Basically a stop hold on!
Really is tragic but I guess the fact it seems all transmission production and parts are on hold, they might actually be looking at fixing the issue? There are enough out there that I don't think they can ignore it. Now performance issues arising with myself and others. I'm sure even the dealers...
I didn't run it but that it fit the criteria. Engine light came on too for about 10 seconds then went off other day. Not that it means anything. Just what's up with this quality
I've got the 7mt scraping, turned into performance issues at just 4month and 3300 miles. The loaner explorer they gave me falls into the above haha. Here I thought I was just being picky being a Chevy guy the last 20 years this QA is terrible. When will the COVID build era end?
Baha, the 2023 Explorer built 1/23/2023 at Chicago they gave me as a loaner is part of the recall group of bronco, explorers and rangers that have the engine manufactured defect. Engine light came on once for about 10 seconds then went off too. WTF is going on across the board at FORD...
Originally was only under 50* and cold starts, disappeared when warm. After about 3-4 months 3k miles it got to the constant, never disappeared even after 5hrs of driving.
I don't know I believe this. TSBs we're performed. All those were reassembled wrong too cause noise came back? Also another member pointed out that there is no synchro on 4&5. It's 3&4 or 5&6
Someone is throwing some hearsay out in another thread. Not sure the factuality of it but apparently they are being told issue could be incorrectly installed 4&5 synchros? Doesn't explain my 2nd gear issue. Could a synchro even be installed backwards...
I believe there are 3 of us that have come forward more recently to report performance issues, grinding on 2nd gear itself and high REV for seemingly no reason while coasting for myself. Dealer deemed mine unsafe for those issues. That said for most it's just the noise. IMO never heard a noise...
