What is wrong with this? It is purely demand and Supply. Supply is less and dealers charge more, similarly guys who place reservations , get the vehicle , filip the vehicle and make money. Many fellows are unhappy because they didnt get a chance to flip and make 10K. But at the same time there...
btw, sorry about wht happened. there r supply chain shortages- those are affecting every OEM. Anywhere you go, if the vehicle is in demand- you have got to wait. Unfortunate.
Ford schedules vehicles two months out (as you can see described elsewhere in this forum). Sept month is going on. Say...
If you want a bronco so badly and ready to pay mark up, look up carvana or carmax or some dealers. you can buy it. It is not a big deal.
Dont count of Ford Motor Company to jump thru hoops and bend backwards to fix this issue. I dont think they will wreck their supply chain to fix this one of...
There are also people who recieved their orders reselling it for profit in a few days. Ford cannot prevent any of that. Check Carvana and you can see many broncos. interestingly, people wrongly expect Ford to be some sort of correction officer for dealers, who are independent businesses
how is that possible? Wasnt it posted saying No Scheduling for the week of 7/11? Interesting. looks like the post which said "no scheduling is not accurate'
True and those guys are not dedicated ford people. some are even shared. They decide their greeting ( e.g. thanks for calling ford) based on the number that comes on their screen.
Where did you order? It depends on where you order - if you order at a low volume dealer with 1000 existing bronco orders in , then all likelihood it is going to take time.
True. Time is money. Some people just don’t like to waste their time thinking about this inconsequential thing( in a big scheme of things)-I.e. when will I get it? Will their be market adjustment (+/-). They just pay an extra get the thing and possibly use it for a year or so, get over their...
Those information will be available to people at Ford-in logistics , in plants, in sales etc. But won’t be available to suppliers, customer service reps etc.
issue is you will never reach to anyone with that access when you call customer service
hopefully your dealer will not invoice you for full price and say- we will issue a refund, if we get it back from Ford. My dealer did that to me. When i complained to General Manager, he said- We understand you are dissatisfied with the pricing, so you dont take/buy the vehicle
production definitely wont catch up to demand. there r way too many orders. Stock units sitting there because of ridiculous amount of money dealers r expecting
i think ford customer service dont have access to the real ford systems which pin point where the vehicle is and what state it is- i.e. how many issues it has- how many are to be resolved, how many to go and how long etc..
That would be a question dealer can answer. Once it is shipped, Dealer owns the vehicle. Ford no longer own the vehicle. So, if dealer decides he can, whch in all likelihood will be NO.
