I'm curious if it's a state law, as well. Also, to clarify, you may still be able to take delivery after the repair as long as they don't break the current windshield in the process, correct? It's only the replacement windshield that's on back order?
And since this recall is affecting other...
Anyone else get the feeling Ford’s been sitting on this until they put a good dent in getting the ice mountain built and shipped? So they can at least say they got them “built” finally and any problems thereafter are in the dealers’ court!
I texted him this morning and he'd not heard about the recall yet. He texted back later on and said "It looks like there is something that will need to be checked or completed prior to delivery. I have let the service dept. know but it is something they check on every vehicle during the PDI. The...
Well, according to my dealer, mine has made the trip via rail from Michigan to ATL and is waiting on a truck (for bout a week now). So, I guess the dealership will fix the issue prior to taking delivery? I dunno. Going to text him tomorrow.
Also, supposedly this affects those built from...
So....anyone else showing their VIN is affected by this recall? I haven't even taken delivery and mine is flagged for this windshield issue.

Cool! Have you or @ocbucks1 seen anything about powder coating affecting the warranty in any way? I read something about how the high heat can warp the aluminum/damage the integrity. Also why I am hesitant to do it. $600 sounds like a great deal though!
The powder coating looks so good! I looked into that, as well, but the dealer quoted me an extra $1K. Not sure if that’s on par with the going rate, but thought it was too pricey.
Nice! Are you keeping the stock rims?
KO2 was my first choice but they can’t find any in that size right now. I’ve heard lots of great things about the Nittos, so hoping I’ll be happy with them!
I am getting 33 Nitto Ridge Grapplers put on my OBX (keeping stock rims). Dealer is recommending 1" level for extra clearance (which I'm good with), but I've seen where others have put 33's on the stock wheels without a lift and it's seemed to work fine. This link may help. I think they def give...
Got a text from my dealer today that my bronco made it to ATL!! Realistically, I know it could still be weeks for it to actually travel the final 4 ish hours, but right now, I’m so damn happy to know it’s no longer sitting at MAP!
