  1. 6000 miles, Starter issue Auto start stop?

Good point and I don't disagree with you. Worrying about stuff like that is a waste of time for sure - but I'd see that as a separate issue from the fact that it's a daily annoyance for most.
  2. 6000 miles, Starter issue Auto start stop?

It's not hard to turn off but if you're out running errands or something, parking, turn it off, run in, come back out, start it up again to go to your next errand, blah blah, that's a lot of button pushing and it does get old. I had it on my Audi A4 and got used to it but still not a fan. My...
  3. 7mt Transmission Fluid Service @ 1 year/7500mi -- fluid results

Interesting. Do you have any more info on what the belt is responsible for directly? Sounds like it's something like how a timing belt in an interference engine works...or something of the sort?
  4. Antimatter Blue

That's interesting....but AMB is still a standard color on F150's.... so you would think it would still be in good supply and available generally.
  5. Antimatter Blue

I had an opportunity to get a '21 Base in AMB at my local dealer - had low miles and such, the 2.3, softtop, not too bad. They just wanted too much for it for what it was.....I ended up paying just a tad more for my '23 Black Diamond, new, with 2.7L in Azure Gray at a different dealer. I am...
  6. CarPlay Degradation After Latest Update?

Thanks Zulu for referencing the thread I started before. RedolentSurge - sorry for your troubles. For anyone questioning why not to do an update, this is a good example.
  7. New Steps/Mounted on Rock Rails

Very easy I’d say. I used a T30 bit on a small ratchet for the bolts and it’s simple removal of the two bolts per step, lift the step off the rock rail and you’re done. The instructions were poor so if someone buys them and doesn’t know what they’re doing, they’ll be confused.
  8. New Steps/Mounted on Rock Rails

Not today. Maybe tomorrow. That’s why I said they come off easy enough. My wife and daughter had a hard time climbing in. Thus the install.
  9. New Steps/Mounted on Rock Rails

Thanks… the angle and lighting isn’t great in the picture but there’s still a good bit of clearance. They come off easy enough for off-roading if need be.
  10. New Steps/Mounted on Rock Rails

Just got these off Amazon recently - took a little longer than planned to install due to poor instructions but all good, figured it out. Price was not too bad given the decent quality (with coupon around $230). I also did a full review on it with more detailed install instructions than the...
  11. What did you do TO / WITH your Bronco today? 👨🏻‍🔧🧰🚿🛠

Just ordered a set. Thanks to you and GoHack for the tip.
  12. Which SYNC4 software version do I have?

Funny! Guess I started a monster with this thread but I appreciate all the varying opinions on it and the detail that some have put into their responses. Some people have had negative experiences with the upgrades....so you have to place value in that. As I referenced iOS upgrades earlier on...
  13. Which SYNC4 software version do I have?

This is really helpful - this means version "4.0.22291" = 4.2.2 in my case. Thanks a ton for doing that homework sir! Now the big question is whether to turn on the WiFi and turn auto updates on to do the deed of upping to 4.2.3.
  14. Which SYNC4 software version do I have?

Ok I have the 8” screen as Sherminator, yet your version and mine are similar so not sure what to say bro!
  15. Which SYNC4 software version do I have?

Your version is very close to mine. I’m thinking NO update right now unless you start experiencing problems. My wireless CarPlay is working fine (other than one odd but very temporary Spotify issue that cleared itself up quickly) as is all else so I’m staying put for a while.
