Not surprised at all by the lack of grease fittings. I would think most vehicles have sealed systems these days (my '06 Jeep TJ has 7 fittings in the front suspension/steering components).
Seems like ADV should have done some focus group and other testing to see what the market would bear in terms of pricing. Maybe they haven't invested much yet with just CAD work, but it seems they are getting 24+ pages here of mostly negative market research on pricing.
You guys can always do what I did with my Jeep TJ. Wait 15 years and then buy a used hardtop for $900 (you'll need to adjust for inflation 15 years from now). At least you don't have to add the wiring for the wiper/defrost like I did. :)
