I know what you mean about the smell and your description captures it perfectly. After a few nights in the garage with the windows open it is barely noticeable now or I've become "Nose Blind" like in the Febreze commercials :)
With the top down it was actually better because air moves freely. When the top is up air movement is restricted to the nooks and crannies and the volume is increased. All I can say is that the ride is much quieter.
Well to say the least I am more that pleased, I am elated!!! It does keep things warmer which again was never a concern for me. It does significantly quiet down the cabin when driving!! On a windy day you either yelled to communicate with the rear passengers or waited to talk when you got the...
Thank you Mike @Dirtydog I got my Headliner today and installed immediately. Installation was easy and very fast. I'm not a freeze baby so saw never worried about keeping it warmer inside but I HATE the noise. I am praying this cuts down on the wind noise. I will let you know soon how it does on...
I would figure out how to hang it on the tailgate. I like having the floor space vs the few inches I loose by hanging it on the door. I removed the OEM rattle box and sub and placed the Kicker 500.1 there.
There are a few pre-made option but I made my own sealed box. It's a 10' Kicker Comp-R run by a Kicker Key 500.1 amp. It hangs on two aluminum cleats that fit into the vents on the bottom of the tail gate and a few metal inserts hold the top in place.
I did and was told they would try to replicate it but after that I heard nothing. Sub placement for me isn't the issue as I removed the factory one and hung mine on the tailgate.
I was able to quiet the rattle by wrapping the struts in sound deadening mat. It's still there just lower and...
I agree with most of you points with the two exception of the device becoming non-responsive (I haven't seen mine do that yet in the 2-3 weeks it has been installed) and this "The current info. screen is very basic and the device must be plugged into OBD port, which has power even when vehicle...
My Wildtrak did the same thing when I go it. I resolved it (unknowingly) when I installed my OEM tow harness. After removing the tail light to make the connections when I put it back together it was fixed. I assume that the bracket that holds it in place was slightly tilted and I reinstalled it...
@Dirtydog I ordered mine today on the website (https://store.dirtydog4x4.com/?route=product/product&path=139_150&product_id=640) and didn't see a place to enter the code I was probably too excited to order and quiet down my ride. What I didnt see it the normal banner that stated the lead times...
I like them. They are easy to remove when I need to. There are ZERO rock chips on my doors and the crap kicked up by the rear tires doesn't go too far.
Hopefully there pictures are what you are looking for.

My wife says there are three different Broncos:
1) Baby Broncos - Bronco Sports
2) Half Broncos - Bronco 2-dr
3) Bronco - Bronco 4-dr
My daughter was the same with my Taurus. There were really only two versions in her mind:
1) Slow ones - all versions not a SHO
2) Fast ones - SHO (mine) :)
I...
Why is the soft top a concern? I live in Minnesota and mine is plenty warm, I've rode in a few hard tops and sadly they were almost as noisy (upgrade the factory speakers on the B&O and you wont hear noises :-) ) and then the one thing I love the most it that I can open it up when I am 500 miles...
