  1. For those of you that have converted your reservation to an order, do you feel relieved?

I was slightly more relieved, but now definitely not relieved. I got my VIN and first saw my window sticker on July 13th with a build week of the 19th, which has come and gone. Production status says entered production on the 20th of July with no updates since. Other threads have said delays...
  2. 1250 Miles in 4-Door Badlands - Real World Owner's Thoughts

Personally, I do appreciate that they did at least include the analog speedometer because I've heard with the roof off on a sunny day that the digital display is hard to read.
  3. 1250 Miles in 4-Door Badlands - Real World Owner's Thoughts

Is there an actual reason to get them tinted? Sorry for the ignorance, I've never driven a vehicle with tinted windows. Is it to keep the heat out if you're parked and live in a warm climate? I normally drive with the windows down unless it is the dead of winter. Even in the summer I'm a...

No coordinates on the on the regular Bronco plate (the only coordinates I know of are in all Broncos up by the roof). Still nice to have where it's built, but I actually like the pop of red in the FE one.
  5. First Edition Bronco Thread

Yeah, I wish the number plaque was actually a thing. Of course with an ACTUAL number on it, not just all '1 of 7k'.
  6. First Edition Bronco Thread

Yeah that's fine. It sounds like VIN order pattern is still up in the air. I don't blame you for being unconvinced. I still think a low VIN FE is worth more than a later VIN FE, but I don't plan on selling mine so it doesn't really make much difference. I just think it's neat.
  7. First Edition Bronco Thread

I've explained it before, and again just now, but just in case you didn't see it, or forget which thread you're in. We are currently chatting in a forum dedicated to the LIMITED production FE. This isn't a Badlands thread. This isn't a thread dedicated to the stylish Outer Banks. We are the...

:ROFLMAO: So can you explain why the lowest VINs have the highest sale values so far? I mean, I don't think it is rocket science to put 2 and 2 together that so far the eBay sold listings are $90k+ for (what are advertised to be) low VINs. VIN means nothing when it comes to a mass produced...
  9. First Edition Bronco Thread

I guess not. It was sounding like the last four digits were promising, but someone just said they were 300 something and not yet in production while someone who was 400 something already got their FE. And yesss I hope so too. I never got those collectible posters either.
  10. First Edition Bronco Thread

Obviously people do, or else you wouldn't have these $110k FE sales promising low VINs. You might not be familiar with collectors in general. As someone who enjoys collecting various things as a hobby, I can assure you production #'s add to the value.

Scheduling is fantastic and all, but means relatively little when you're in production for weeks on end with no delivery date in sight.
  12. First Edition Bronco Thread

Eeeek, bad news for those that shelled out big $$$ for what may not actually be low VINs. 😂
  13. Scheduling resumes week of 8/2

Scheduling is cool and all, but a delivery estimate would be even cooler. My FE has been "in production" since the 20th.
  14. [Update 7/30] Ready to roll: MAP readies for "full speed" Bronco production as questions loom

Hard top MY21 going to be a rarity spoken of only in hushed whispers.
  15. First Edition Bronco Thread

Interesting. So far it seems those low digit VINs were delivered first. I'll be interested to hear if any of you get a low VIN with a later build date. And hopefully those bidding insane $$$ just for the low VIN don't get too upset if those digits don't actually mean anything.
  16. First Edition Bronco Thread

It looks like it. Those three prior builds look to already have been delivered. Mine is 800 something with a build week of July 19, and then yours at 1479 with 23 Aug. seems to make sense.
  17. First Edition Bronco Thread

The difference here is that these hot dogs are all sold out and the only way to get one is through someone who has already bought one, meaning MSRP is out the window and if you want one of those juicy dogs, you're gonna have to fork over however much the original buyer wants to sell it for.
  18. First Edition Bronco Thread

I didn't know what to make of that either. I don't know if someone has cracked the VIN code, but on the three listings I posted pictures of, the last of their VINS were MLA40430, MLA40273, and MLA20041, and they called themselves the 430th, 273rd, and 41st Bronco FEs built. Maybe an earlier...
  19. First Edition Bronco Thread

I appreciate your point, but isn't what someone is willing to pay, the value? Granted this bubble may not last forever, but if someone else values my FE for $90k, I might be driving it home a little more cautiously...
  20. First Edition Bronco Thread

Have any of you been keeping an eye on active and sold FE listings? Does this make you consider selling yours? Personally I have no intention of doing so, though it does make me feel a bit more cautious knowing I'm driving a 90-100k vehicle instead of a 60-70k. Also, is it true the last...
