  1. Where do I stand in line?? - Granger Ford Customers

I am assuming you mean the # of reservations a dealer has, has no factor in how many Broncos Ford is sending to the dealer for the 2022 year. Within the allocations a dealer is getting for 2022 reservation date is still a priority given all build constrainst are equal. For example a 7/14...
  2. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

I just left a Facebook message for Ford explaining how I am discourage anyone from buying from Ford until their policies change. I am also going to contact local media to see if they would be willing to do a story on how Ford is hurting small local dealers. I encourage other members here to...
  3. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

Yes Woodhouse did a good job of expanding their market back in the day but now they are just as bad to work with as any other dealer in the Omaha/KC/Des Moines area. Had my reservation with them initially and couldn't even get them to pick up the phone or call me back to answer questions...
  4. đź—“ 2022 Bronco order bank opens October 13!

If you have a 2021 reservation you are price locked on everything but new options or trim levels offered for 2022. If you add a lux from a mid package you are supposed to be locked on the 2021 price. If it is something new only on 2022 orders it will be at 2022 prices. I check with my...
  5. 2022 Model Year Bronco Order Primer

Again thanks Granger for keeping everyone informed. Too bad Ford can’t communicate with us directly. My guess is Ford will send me a $5 sticker some time in the spring as part of the compensation that is supposed to be up to a grand. Not holding my breath.
  6. Changed my order after driving 3 different models

The 2.7 comes standard with 3:73 gears without a rear locker or non sasquatch, 4:27 gears with rear locker at the Big Bend level., 4:46 I believe at the Badlands and 4:7 with the squatch. I drove 2 different 2.7 demos, a 2 door outer bank with 3:73 and a Wildtrack with 4:7 which comes...
  7. Need Advice on Changing Order

I had the opportunity to drive 4 different demos in both 2.3 and 2.7, auto and manual. After driving I changed my order and decided that I would rather wait to get the Bronco I want long term than compromise and have a truck I don’t like as much and might want to get rid of. I hope to have...
  8. Thar She Blows. Base 2-door delivered and now wearing bronze Method wheels

Can you tell me how the manual does with te 285 tires. I drove a 4 door big bend manual with 35" tires and 2" lift at Granger and personally felt the engine and transmission struggled with the weight of the vehicle and tire size, especially at high way speeds. I drove a 2 door outer bank...
  9. Granger Motors Bronco Delivery Update

My guess is that won't be a problem. I was at the dealership last week test driving the 2 demos they had and the lot is pretty empty due to very low inventory. They have plenty of space to park a Bronco while it waiting to be picked up. Hunter said they would have new deliveries for a couple...
  10. Changed my order after driving 3 different models

Just a follow up on the manual with 35". I had a JK wrangler for 5 years with the 3.6 Pentastar, manual, 3:73 gears and 33" tires. That drove much better than the Granger build with 35"s. The Jeep didn't struggle like the Bronco did. Due to money issues I will probably have to put...
  11. Changed my order after driving 3 different models

Please see my other post. We looked at the wrong gear ratios on the base. Didn't see it till after the post. Will not put 35" tires with 3:73 gears. Will change the gears or go with 33"s.
  12. Changed my order after driving 3 different models

I did downshift. I have been SCCA racing for years. Know how to drive. Was testing how it would handle cruise control in 6th gear on hilly roads. Would definitely bog down. Could not use cruise on hilly highways as you would have to shift to 4th or 5th every hill. Unfortunately no one...
  13. Changed my order after driving 3 different models

Yes unless you want the leather, larger screen, and higher packages that don't affect drivability definitely save the money and go base squatch. Will drive the same.
  14. Changed my order after driving 3 different models

Yes, I asked if they kept the original set of wheels but they go rid of them already.
  15. Changed my order after driving 3 different models

Yes I realized that we looked at the wrong gear ratio after I posted. I had only been looking at manual transmission and was looking at the wrong ratio on build and price. Going to have to relook at build or tire size. Might have to keep base 2.7 and do 33"s. Not going to do any serious off...
  16. Changed my order after driving 3 different models

Changed my order after being able to test drive 3 different model, engine, transmission options in the last week. Notice, beware of manual transmission with 35" tires! Thanks again to the Granger folks for having 2 demos to drive. My original order was a 2 door Big Bend manual transmission...
  17. Auto start stop with manual transmission?

Thanks same place as the auto.
  18. Auto start stop with manual transmission?

Question for anyone who has taken delivery of a manual transmission. Do the manual have the auto start stop like the Focus RS or does the engine stay running the whole time. If it does have start-stop is the button on top of the dash with the switches?
  19. Test Drive Causing Me to Re-evaluate

It did have the rear locker with the button on top of the dash. I put it in sport mode and it had plenty of power for daily driving, never going to be a speed demon but just as fast as my Ranger in sport mode. Motor would have no problems with 33s, I would have to drive a squatch before I...
