I feel like they almost have to add some real sweetener options - don't know what those will be (lol) but something they'd suspect will make customers waiting feel better that they're in this situation. We'll see.

Obviously tons of compounding issues within this whole rollout but I do have to say - spoke to a Ford customer service rep on the phone about my order and they couldn't have been more helpful. Cleared a bunch of stuff up for me. Was so pleasantly surprised that I stayed on after the call to fill...

Also to be fair - they haven't cashed the check yet. Going to make sure it remains that way.

Yeah - they've been very unhelpful. Think they're confused themselves about the whole order process. I'm taking the advice of @LowerSlowerDelaware and getting in touch with @DealerInsider. Tom - I'll reach out to you tomorrow.

I live in the Warrington, PA area. Fred Beans Ford in Doylestown/Langhorne was doing $500 deposits, John Kennedy Ford in Jenkintown was also doing $500 deposits and Chapman Ford in Hatboro was doing $0 deposits but a salesman told me they had 400+ reservations.

got it. what does 'AFU' stand for? what's the alternative to a dealer being an AFU dealer?
